Well I am going to the next san fran show, whenever that happens, and i'm assuming you are too so we're totally waiting in line for 16 hours together and having a picnic.

i have friends who slept in a tent overnight waiting for a U2 concert and they weren't even first in line! i promise i'm not one of those.. i wouldn't even do that for green day.

anyway. you won't be hearing anymore about U2 from me. promise

Ok I have a question...does anybody know about how much these pre-sale tickets will cost?? I'm already a member of the Idiot Club and I'm going to buy them tomorrow but I'm trying to figure out if I should buy one of two for the show...my friend wants to come but doesn't want to pay a lot for her ticket.

I think after pre-sales end today I think people should post up basically the procedure of what happened such as

- DO you get to pick where you sit ( i read that you didn't)

- does picking the tix up the day of the show seem reliable?

- any other things that would clear up the question's we have?

okay J`net, I`ve emailed asking about the differences with the times and I`ve also asked if idiot club members with will call tickets will be allowed into the venue before general sales people will be allowed in.

as for the question about being able to buy tickets on two different credit cards, no! its two tickets per show per member. not per credit card. you could maybe try it but you put yourself at risk of having your tickets cancelled. if you want more than two tickets you will have to get the others in the general sale.

I think it's a good idea to post our experiences of today's presale since there will probably be another one next week for the tickets that are going on sale 15th and 16th. I don't think we're gonna know yet though how reliable the will call procedure is. I know it will work fine for buying the tickets (a lot of my European tickets are will call because they won't mail them internationally). But until we get to the show and find out whether we get a fair deal, we won't really have much of an answer.

We might figure out some tips and tricks to pass on to people for next week's presale though!

In case they like feedback - I'm really pleased with the way the times are staggered for these presales. If I only knew whether they were starting in Daylight Time or Standard Time, I would be quite calm about getting the ones I need today .

With the European shows' presales all starting at the same time (and being quite busy), it was really stressful to buy tickets for more than one show - for me anyway!

I'm feeling about 85% sure, too Beth, but the links from the IC say standard time (even though the informational list at the top says daylight time). I wouldn't want to be off by an hour in that direction, so I'm going to try both if we haven't heard back from Netty before then. And I'm not too stressed - just a touch. This is important stuff, you know .

I am not sure what youre seeing but it is very clear to me what time they are on sale. Its says so right by the time. There is only one is Saskatoon that is on standard time.

okay, three answers to questions. hopefully this will help out a bit.

more pre-sales will be announced today for next week so keep your eyes out for those.

the admin are trying to find out if the "will call" windows are going to be opened early so that members can get their tickets in plenty of time

all pre-sales are daylight time.
