TheBullwinkle Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 They're 30! which is still pretty young, but not really..And i will not talk about U2! i only like the really early stuff anyway.Haha, young enough. Although, my mom is in her thirties. So, that might as well be ancient. Some time in my life: YES! Sooner would be better than later.
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Haha, young enough. Although, my mom is in her thirties. So, that might as well be ancient. Whoaaa my mom is an old woman. she's 50. And she hates U2.
TheBullwinkle Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Whoaaa my mom is an old woman. she's 50. And she hates U2.Shitz. Yeah, I've got young parents. Momma just turned 37. She likes to change the last line of "Rock And Roll Girlfriend" to "Sit on my face." She's a dirty whore. It's awesome.
Whatsername868 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Ok I have a question...does anybody know about how much these pre-sale tickets will cost?? I'm already a member of the Idiot Club and I'm going to buy them tomorrow but I'm trying to figure out if I should buy one of two for the show...my friend wants to come but doesn't want to pay a lot for her ticket.
greenday801440 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I think after pre-sales end today I think people should post up basically the procedure of what happened such as- DO you get to pick where you sit ( i read that you didn't)- does picking the tix up the day of the show seem reliable?- any other things that would clear up the question's we have?
J'net Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 okay J`net, I`ve emailed asking about the differences with the times and I`ve also asked if idiot club members with will call tickets will be allowed into the venue before general sales people will be allowed in. as for the question about being able to buy tickets on two different credit cards, no! its two tickets per show per member. not per credit card. you could maybe try it but you put yourself at risk of having your tickets cancelled. if you want more than two tickets you will have to get the others in the general sale. Thanks, netty! I'll be watching for your answer, and I very much appreciate your help .I think after pre-sales end today I think people should post up basically the procedure of what happened such as- DO you get to pick where you sit ( i read that you didn't)- does picking the tix up the day of the show seem reliable?- any other things that would clear up the question's we have?I think it's a good idea to post our experiences of today's presale since there will probably be another one next week for the tickets that are going on sale 15th and 16th. I don't think we're gonna know yet though how reliable the will call procedure is. I know it will work fine for buying the tickets (a lot of my European tickets are will call because they won't mail them internationally). But until we get to the show and find out whether we get a fair deal, we won't really have much of an answer. We might figure out some tips and tricks to pass on to people for next week's presale though!

WHICH STILL IS NOT OLD, is it?
Dearly Beloved Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I wish I could buy tickets. I'm not an idiot club member & I don't have the money to join right now if I want to buy tickets. Sucks. But whatever! I'll get them Friday.

If I only knew whether they were starting in Daylight Time or Standard Time, I would be quite calm about getting the ones I need today . With the European shows' presales all starting at the same time (and being quite busy), it was really stressful to buy tickets for more than one show - for me anyway! And to everyone who's buying tickets today - best of luck getting what you want!!!

Guest Shangri-La Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 God damnit i have so much shit to do today. i wish the presales would happen before i left for school rather than in the middle of philosophy Actually they are 37 which is closer to 40. WHICH STILL IS NOT OLD, is it?i was talking about my friends who spent the night in line to see U2... no 20 year old would ever do that, i'm pretty sure.

J'net Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 hey J, stop stressing. we are in daylight savings time now not standard time, I am sure that is what they are using as the start time.I'm feeling about 85% sure, too Beth, but the links from the IC say standard time (even though the informational list at the top says daylight time). I wouldn't want to be off by an hour in that direction, so I'm going to try both if we haven't heard back from Netty before then. And I'm not too stressed - just a touch. This is important stuff, you know .
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Am i missing something important?wasn't daylight savings in march?
Jaymee!! Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Wait I'm confused.Do the presales start at 10am LA time? Not that it matters much...if Angie doesn't come on to check up I won't be able to get the idiot club presales :'(
