Tek Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I have NOTHING set up I'm going to buy for either 3 or 4 shows, and I also have to buy a car battery, so that cuts into what I had to spend on GD. Damn it I also have a couple of months to save for traveling purposes, but other than a rough plan, I have no idea what's gonna happen this summer lol It sort of depends on how much the tickets are. All I know is Nashville is a definite, and Missouri is a very, very, very likely probability, pretty much a definite. It's Nebraska I'm not sure about, but I have another week to decide about that one, thankfully.I'm all set, day off from work is scheduled, hotel room is booked, mapquest is ready...now I just need tickets...money in the account set aside for this.Good thing I can check this site from work. I will just keep refreshing the IC until they have the presale info, but I doubt they include the Nashville show in this round. Prob next week. I'm sure these presales are for the shows that go on sale this weekend, then next week will be the presales for the shows that go on sale next weekend.mmmhmmm
Bastard of 1967 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 is 20 bucks worth it...most likely not, never had problems before getting GA tickets.Ticketmonster screwed me out of Bruce Springsteen tickets just a few months ago -- if I understand the post-fiasco news reports correctly, their "TicketsNow!" secondary-market subsidiary bought large blocks of seats in the major venues for resale at higher-than-face-value prices, resulting in a lot of folks being unable to purchase face-value seats when the tickets officially went on public sale. Many venues, including Verizon Center in Washington DC, sold out in something like 3 minutes...I'm taking no chances this time.-Michael

All tickets will be purchased as Will Call method of delivery. Tickets will NOT be mailed to you. Will Call tickets will only be able to be picked up by the person whose name is on the order. Pick-up name changes will NOT be permitted. If you are purchasing tickets for someone other than yourself, that person’s name must be entered as the Billing Information of your order at the time of purchase. You WON'T be in school... the tickets go on sale at 3 PM of the venue's local time.(but you probably won't believe me anyway, so go ahead and ask people if I'm right)
