Bothh.

You can't take CD's everywhere, might as well have it on your iPod too.

Physical CD. That way, you get the groovy booklet that comes with it, and it can snuggle up nicely to your other CDs. I'll find the bonus track somewhere else. *shifty eyes*

CD. it makes it more special imo.

i'm getting both, just cos i want the bonus songs off itunes. but i have to have the physical cd too, its just not the same not having a hard, genuine copy in your hands

if you can only get one then get the physical cd

the bonus tracks will leak anyway and they'll be all over the internet

personally, I like to have the physical even though i don't own a cd player anymore

i always get the physical cds of bands i love. but if i could i'd get both.

I'll end up getting both. i-tunes cause I'm lazy and CD cause it's gonna be nice to be able to hold it in my hands, gently caressing it.

cd because itunes sucks and doesnt let you do anything with it other than put it on your ipod.

I'd say get the CD.

I've now lost all my computer files twice, and on both occasions iTunes haven't let me get the songs I paid for back.

CD's rule. And I don't care how backward that makes me sound. I always prefer to have something that physically exists rather than in the form of some kind of megabyte on the computer.

thanks for your imput guys. I pre-ordered the cd on bestbuy.com and On may 15 I will pick it up there. :)

Amen to that, I love CDs. I lost over 2000 songs when my computer broke a few months ago :verymad:, having a physical copy of stuff is definitely the way to go. I'll seek out the extra tracks somewhere or other.

Oh shit I'm scared about losing all my music now. My computer has nearly crashed on me twice but I havn't lost any files thank god. I'm thinking about getting an external hard drive to transfer all my music onto... when I can afford it.

Anyway I ordered both and I know it's going to be worth it.

That's why you back up everything on your computer aswell. And if they both crash then you're fucked.

Funny I was just about to ask if the bonus tracks would be on the cd when I saw this post. Will the cd not be available to buy with any bonus tracks etc? For most bands I download from itunes but Green Day I want to buy. I don't want to miss out on the bonus tracks though.

Also the Know your enemy single. I saw it in HMV and it appeared to be just one song. When and where are the extra tracks going to be available? This could be the reason the single is not doing as well as it should. I don't really want to buy one track that will be on the album anyway. I'd have bought it by now if there were other (non album) songs offered. What are Warner playing at? It really bugs me the way they are messing this release around. I also feel I may buy the cd and then new versions with bonus tracks etc. will come out later. This is the reason so many people opt for downloading illegally.

itunes for the 4 bonus cover songs

and the physical cd, cause i'm not comfortable with this digital age yet.

CD definitely. :)

I think the physical cd is always better, because you get the artwork. I am going to get the deluxe CD edition where you get the fancy book with it.

Oooh they are playing Basket Case on Kerrang radio! I want to hear new album snippets though.

Physical CD is more fun.
