Jack96 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I just noticed something: under the question American Idiot" scored Green Day its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. What do you think drove its popularity? Bj drops an F-Bomb and it goes uncenscored but under How does it feel that "American Idiot" is being made into a musical? They write it as f*cking. Just an observation.

greenbear Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 That was really good. I love the direct quotes from their own mouths rather than just a summary.Billie; Then it gets into "Christian's Inferno," which is when I was in the most diabolic state in my head, and vomited out this songThe thought of Billie vomiting out a song created an interesting mental picture. And Tre's poor hands!

Kaddi. Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Very interesting, thanks for posting it. But... Billie said he tought himself to play the piano to write some new songs. I always thought he has played it for years
The Disappearing Boy Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 no-body leaves this band unless it is in a coffinlove it.also good to hear how foxboro came about.
Hermione Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 ^ Your name is spelled right! That was bloody brilliant, I agree it's such a treat to hear it straight form the boys' mouths. Love them
Princess Consuela Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 ^ Your name is spelled right! Was it ever spelled wrong? E: Oh, wait. Dissapearing Boy, right?
emmaILGD! Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I noticed they didn't put any of Billie's "y'know"s in Maybe there were too many. I loved the interview though, it's nice to hear things straight from the boys themselves.
GreenPunkPrincess Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I noticed they didn't put any of Billie's "y'know"s in Maybe there were too many.Sure!!
klytaemnestra Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 i was a bit disappointed that they left out billie's 'y'know's, but apart from that it was awesome. it's cool to be able to see what the band have to say, other than the interviewer's interpretation of their words.
Green Jay Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Wow! Thanks Andres.""Last Night On Earth" is a love song I wrote for my wife. I wrote it on piano and then sang it. It's one of those things where it's only directed toward one person, like an intimate moment."That's lovely And I'm even more excited for the new album after reading the answers!
RebelofSuburbia Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 that was a good read! Nobody leaves this band unless it's in a coffin I love how Tre refers to timeperiods in his life by their records. I do the same when I come across pictures of the band
