MusicalDeviant Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Ugh, that sounds painful. My toe got broken at the October 9th show at the Home Depot Center from people stomping on it all night. It's bent to the side permanently. No regrets, right? What can I say that you don't already know? LA people suck.
TheBullwinkle Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 No regrets, right? What can I say that you don't already know? LA people suck.No regrets at all. It's totally been worth it.Yeah, people in LA suck almost as much as the new X-Men movie.
Robin105 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 To be fair, she was shorter than the barriers, so the guard never even saw her. Where are the short Green Day fans? We want you.I'm just barely 5 feet
Anja Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I can´t wait to see those gigs! Jordan, we might be in that footage And I will love that person who records it forever, too!!!
TheBullwinkle Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I can´t wait to see those gigs! Jordan, we might be in that footage And I will love that person who records it forever, too!!!That would be so amazing. The camera was definitely in our faces at least once.
SOMERTEN Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 I can´t wait to see those gigs! Jordan, we might be in that footage And I will love that person who records it forever, too!!!Look forward to seeing y'all in the audience!I was hoping to get the gigs onto a dvd and watch them on the bigger tv screen. I don't really like watching them on the pc as the screen is too small and the sound is quite tinny. Does anybody know if you can record from comcast if you subscribe, and how much it would cost? I'm not sure how the myspace thing would work either.
Marie_GD Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Well, a mod could change the topic name so that it's clearer what it's about. Here's what was officially posted at greenday.com and it could be added to the first post.05-02 - GREEN DAY AT THE WALL STREET JOURNALAlso in April, the band played shows at two small venues in Oakland, Calif., that were filmed. One at the Uptown Night Club is to be carried on News Corp.'s MySpace, while a show at the Fox Theater is to be presented as a video-on-demand offering to Comcast cable subscribers. IFC is to begin using the band's music in spots that air starting Sunday. [Full article at Wall Street Journal] http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124113676663475423.html
Eirik Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Aaaah, that's gonna be awesome... I want it nowI want you right now. Erm, I mean.... :whistling:
SlappyDJ1 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 does anyone know when the concerts will be up on demand?
achtungkatie Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I hope they have the whole footage of the Uptown show on Myspace. That's the show Billie yanked me up onstage for, and I'd give my right arm to see footage of it. Ugh.
MusicalDeviant Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I probably won't be in the showing of the Fox show, even though I was in the front and had to sign a release. Fuck. All that toe-bleeding and I'm not even going to be in it.Jk. I didn't go to get filmed. I went to see my idols do what they do best (besides being hot naked).
apocalipstick Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 okay rad, I'm glad I have comcast! I can't wait to see Anja & Jordan in there
