Hermione Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Ahh that doesn't sound too much smaller than the O2 then. Good good.
Sazzrah Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 No it's Wembley Arena, not Wembley Stadium. the arena only holds 12000 or somethingYeah I know! I mean if after these two dates sell out they add a Stadium one I won't now what to do! I thought they would play Wembley Stadium at some point on this tour, I know these are Wembley arena dates, can't believe i've spent so much money on tickets today....it'll be worth it
.Holly Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Yeah I know! I mean if after these two dates sell out they add a Stadium one I won't now what to do! Sazzrah Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 It's at the Arena isn't it not the Stadium?Yeah its the Arena which holds 12,500 people, the stadium holds 75,000 to 90,000 seated and 15,000 standing...i got that from wikipedia
anniewoo Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I got some standing tickets for this date!! at last, I am sooooo happy and thankful ^_^
SOMERTEN Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Don't despair you guys that have tickets to the O2, the accoustics are meant to be amazing, I wish I was going! To be honest I always found Wembley a bit grim and out of the way.
ferryfan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 i bought the tickets for all the shows i wanted to go to and when i realised there was a Wembley date added it had sold out! why did they not announce it sooner? how many tickets were available for Wembley?
Guitar4Girl Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Just brought my tickets just now They're going really quickly I could only get N10 for seated.
ferryfan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 i think they should have announced the Wembley date earlier. instead of people who genuinely wanted tickets getting them there are tonnes now being sold online by people trying to make money! they are being sold online for nearly £100 each!
Kryssi. Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I think they just wanted to keep Wembley a secret. I don't know if they'd really know to the extent just how fast their tickets for the UK dates would sell out.I got.. well, my friend got me our tickets the second they came out So, I got them standing
E M M A Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 there's still tickets left for seated, might get some and go 3 times.
netty Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I think they just wanted to keep Wembley a secret. I don't know if they'd really know to the extent just how fast their tickets for the UK dates would sell out.I got.. well, my friend got me our tickets the second they came out So, I got them standing last time round they added an extra manchester date. which happily I got to go to. it wasnt a secret. if the first show sold out quickly enough and there seemed to be the demand for it... then it was added. if the first show hadnt sold out so quickly... we never would have had that second show. it was a surprise for us fans but it was a back up plan set up simply in case demand was high enough.
Jack96 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Its abt time they played there although i wouldnt be going .

It's nice though, that they put that date up. What if that Wembley one sold out just as quick? Although that one was only up within 2 hours of those tickets going up for sale for the normal tour.Do you think it will be the same setlist, or something a little like Milton Keynes? I can't get a straight answer when I try to look up the capacity of the venue :/
iLozza! Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Goingggg.12,500 people, not bad. I'm looking forward to it, and I get the day after off school =D
Kryssi. Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 There's a 12,000 capacity; I just googled it Thank ye, dearies I googled it last night, or yesterday sometime before they went on sale, and there was one site that said 12,000 and another that said 32,500... that's the stadium. Jeez, Green Day should play that Stadium.. maybe next year

ferryfan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 There's a 12,000 capacity; I just googled it do you mean Wembley can hold 12, 000? surely its much more than that?
Kryssi. Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 They should play Milton Keynes again!I CONCUR! Although maybe they're probably waiting for a right 'time' to do something as phenomenal as that again if they do it again.
