Thank you!

21st Century Breakdown is even better, so masterful and confident it makes Idiot seem like a warm-up.

....

Green Day sound like they’re as shocked as anyone else.

I like these :D

Thanks for typing all that out! :) Even tho I don't really care how the critics feel about it ('cause I am gonna love it anyway), I'm glad reviews so far have been positive.

He's right, they probably don't need to push themselves this hard at this point in their career, but they do because that's all they know. That's why I know I'm gonna love this record.

The way they seemed to just dismiss all their earlier work put my back up a bit, but then it turned into a decent review

Thanks for typing that whole thing. It made me even more excited for 21CB. Why can't it arrive any faster?!? I'll be sure to listen to the week-before "leak" on VH1! :D

“Last Night on Earth” could be Air Supply, and don’t think for a minute they don’t love the idea of pissing people off with that.

haha :D

I dunno if they meant it that way. I've always thought that not many people give Green Day the credit they deserve because of the type of music people think they play, they just automatically dismiss them. 20 years and 8 awesome albums now, that's a testament to who they are and what they've done. They're unique. I think ultimately this review is a great big compliment, and it makes me proud of them

Ha yeah overall it's great, it was just when I started reading the first paragraph.

Rolling Stone only gives 5 stars to Bob Dylan, so 4.5 is a pretty impressive rating.

yeah, they really dig Mr. Dylan, don't they? lol All I know is RS is pretty respected, and they don't hand out ratings that good to just anybody. In the big scheme of things, it makes no real difference, it's not gonna cure swine flu or fix the economy. But it made ME smile

They gave Bob Dylan's new record a 4/5.

Wow, surprising. The torch is being passed...haha.

I always thought the problem with giving Bob Dylan a 5 for his new albums is that then you'd have to go back and give his old stuff a 6 or something. Cause no way is his new shit better than "Highway 61 Revisited"

Fuck, 4.5/5, fantastic! And from RS, which is always a good thing.

Um, AI sold 12 million, not 6, or is that just American Sales?

Rolling Stone is a shell of its former self. I bet 9/10 kids reading that review have no fucking clue who Air Supply is. This is the same magazine that gave Metallica's ST. ANGER 4/5 stars.
