chickin'pickin' Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I laughed so hard at the Foxboro Hot Tubs LP that it nearly killed me.
Princess Consuela Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Ahahaha I bought The Sun today to see it. It was worth it just for "Illie Billie" Is illie a drug as the all-knowing urban dictionary says or what?
Sbarauau Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 failfailfail.LMAO that review was alright, actually. apart from 'their emo roots'?? i didn't think emo was even around in 1987!Even tough that, Green Day never had and never will have EMO ROOTS! Wtf???!
The Disappearing Boy Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I laughed so hard at the Foxboro Hot Tubs LP that it nearly killed me. tell The Sun.
mechanicalman Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Listening to Kerplunk gave me a heart attack.
Roxy. Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I clicked this thread to see if anyone was really taking this seriously, because a lot of websites seem to do so, but I see you're all making fun of it too "illie Billie", WTF?

14razorbacks Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 LMFAOThe SunClassic: "“We all became sick as dogs. I was close to being hospitalised but they caught me in time. I had the boogie woogie flu.”bulshit did Green Day even talk to the Sun, hahaha.
The Disappearing Boy Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Just found this New interview in the SunGoing to read it nowthanks
farley drexel hatcher Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Billie Joe explains: “I liked the three acts as I work in three parts. I have dual personalities, but I’m on medication so that’s okay. “Heroes And Cons represents dealing with these two demons and what they mean."That's pretty interesting.
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Billie Joe is Bi-polar? (I think thats the name for it)Ohhhhhk...
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Just found this New interview in the SunGoing to read it nowThanks for posting, was a nice read Billie Joe says: “Well the real Green Day died years ago. We killed them off.”
farley drexel hatcher Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Thanks for posting, was a nice read Think that was just a joke xD
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Think that was just a joke xDOh damn. I shouldn't be allowed on a computer after 11
.Holly Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Oh damn. I shouldn't be allowed on a computer after 11 However, an easy mistake to make, the sun spouts garbage 24/7, dunno what's supposed to be true and what's supposed to be a joke most of the time Most readers probably get it for page 3
greenbear Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 It was a good read, Better than I expected but I don't think any of it should be taken over seriously. Its still the Sun after all, but I did enjoy some bits like Mike talking about guitars flying across the room! There was a good bit of extra info on the album as well.
Rezurgam Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 It's interesting how the interview was also divided into 3 acts. Haha.“You can find as many meanings in it as you like, or you can just crank it up, roll a joint and rock your f****** balls off.”Oh Tre.
Eirik Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 "In LA, SFTW got the world’s very first play of seven tracks from the album, albeit in unfinished form, and we were blown away." Did i misread that part, or did they hear actually it in February, and are lying?"Billie Joe says: “Well the real Green Day died years ago. We killed them off.”" Aaaah, that explains so much.
Green Day Nerd Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 hmmm Restless Heart Syndrome sounds alot like Give Me Novocaine.Restless Heart Syndrome: Someone take the pain away/ It’s like an ulcer bleeding in my brainGive me Novocaine: Take away the sensation inside/Bittersweet migraine in my head/It's like a throbbing toothache of the mind.
Hermione Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Is illie a drug as the all-knowing urban dictionary says or what? Nah they were talking about the boogie woogie flu thing, saying he was "ill" meaning sick or unwell. Ill-ie Billie
