There's a song called "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu" by a guy named Johnny Rivers. It's from the early 70s.

When I read the thread title, I seriously thought this was going to be some random person claiming they nearly been killed by a Green Day CD in some way , like listening had given them a heart attack or something. In my defense it is The Sun, after all.

It needs to go back to the early '70s.

I don't believe 1 word of this shit. I don't think Billie would make himself sick over an album

this can only be bad

its perfectly legal as they are taking a genuine quote from someone. what they are doing is writing the article in such a way which manipulates your opinion to make you agree with the writers own, twisted opinion.

its what all the tabloids do, and that is why the country is the way it is....

I mean, you seriously think he said those things word for word?

oh I thought this would be about a pre release review and I was like wow they thought it was that bad?

good thing lol

Oh god: Billie Joe has a Crackberry? The end of the world is nigh.

Lol I thought the exact same thing.

Haha the sun is so stupid. Especially the Baltimore Sun.

They obviously pieced parts of different statements together to form that crock of shit.

Also, when Green Day appeared on Stephen's Untitled Rock Show in '05 or '06, Billie said that he just got his first computer. It may have been an exaggeration to show how non-savvy he is when it comes to technology, but it still makes him having a Blackberry 3 years later sound a bit odd.

that was full of fail

being sick does not equal almost dying

Damn you Sun...for being absolutely stupid.

I bet that the way Billie said it was in a joking matter. We all know how much Green Day like to mess around with the media sometimes

Yeah, same here  Would be more fun to read, wouldn't it?

that made me lol and  at the same time.

What a crap style of writing. That´s why I never read tabloids...except when I have to wait to get ready for the hairdresser or the dentist.
