I'd say GD were lucky they weren't crippled by Taz and Dreamer. Sounds like they were being assholes to a defenseless girl for no reason other than they thought they could get away with it.

I still say that, knowing Green Day, and from what I can gather of this Taz guy, he's obviously trying to justify his own cantankerous actions.

What exactly can you gather of this Taz guy? You know nothing about him and Taz and Dreamer are not alpha macho male types or whatever you said they are. Just admit that your precious Green Day probably due to alcohol were giving this girl a hard time and Taz and Dreamer stepped in.

I will step in on this one. I believe it's because they were drunk. I don't think they were rubbing their hands together, being all diabolical, twirling their mustaches going, "Muahahaha, there's a poor, defenseless girl, let's go give her hell!" No, they were out late partying, drunk off their asses, and she might've been snotty, or not. No one will ever know but them, and they were probably too drunk to remember

I mean, I know Billie wrote "She" for an ex-girlfriend, but that song will have been written before this incident and it proves Billie's recognition of how tough life can be for a woman in modern times, a view the rest of the band likely share, so there's no way they would have said anything to be purposefully malicious.

Look, you know nothing about him either. You're telling us all this crap about our "precious Green Day", yet you're taking Taz's words as pure facts, when they're clearly not.

If you read through the topic a bit more you'd see that most people think he's altered the story to make him look like a hero.

No, but going on for 5 pages arguing that same crap over and over again gets annoying.

The point is, we don't know. We don't know if Taz is lying, or if he's telling the truth, or if any of this actually happened.

Not to mention it was 15/16 years ago.
