Not necessarily. I'm not sure if you've watched The Wrestler but what they do to themselves is somewhat real and one person always throws the match. Then again, I don't know how accurate The Wrestler is in its depiction of wrestling.

Again,if it was fake nobody would get hurt. They are really hitting,punching,kicking, falling to the floor etc. Ask Triple H how fake it is after tearing his quad a few times. Ask Mick Foley how fake wrestling is:
