I mean hip hops are ok for sometime but a song like 21 guns is for a lifetime. I exactly know why you call yourself lucky .. i was into rock from early days but GD pulled me into punk basically ..

I mean hip hops are ok for sometime but a song like 21 guns is for a lifetime. I exactly know why you call yourself lucky .. i was into rock from early days but GD pulled me into punk basically ..Yeah i mean there are some hip hop artists that are ok but for the most part I really dont care for it, like i wont make it a point to listen to it the same way I make it a point to listen to Green Day or another band that I really like. It was bands like Green Day and Blink 182 before they broke up and reunited that really got me in to punk plus I have found my self getting in to Metal as well which is really cool
God XIV Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 yeah Man Fan base is too small Probably Just you and a Couple Of crocodiles who like Green Day
Hermione Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I say yes, for the troops over there who are fans of GD. Make them smile and enjoy themselves for a few hours :]Not sure how well some of their newer songs would go down with the troops...
.Brian Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Not sure how well some of their newer songs would go down with the troops...they can play where they want as long as they don't forget germany
norcalgreendayfan Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 they can play where they want as long as they don't forget germany I dont think they have with the shows they did in Cologne and Berlin, plus all the tour dates they got in Germany too
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 atleast thats what the killers thought They wrote the odd awesome tune, but fuck that douche Brandon Flowers.
.Brian Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I dont think they have with the shows they did in Cologne and Berlin, plus all the tour dates they got in Germany tooyup but i meant upcoming tours
norcalgreendayfan Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 yup but i meant upcoming tours Ohhhh yeah I dont think they would skip Germany on future tours either just cant see it happening
novacaine_kid Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 It's not impossible but highly unlikely, i'm not too sure Warner would wanna risk it. Dubai is probably the best shout for a middle east show.
norcalgreendayfan Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The amount of ignorance in this thread is frightening.I agree it is very frightening, it just shows that more needs to be to combat sterotypes and ignorance
Nele Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I think the Middle East would like Green Day, especially their songs:- American Infidel- Muhammad of Suburbia- Boulevard of Blown-up BodiesJust 3 of the favourites. That was one of the unfunniest comments I've ever read in my life. Boulevard of Blown-up Bodies? You can't seriously think that is funny. To anybody that wrote something like that in this thread. If you don't have something better to say, just say nothing. That's sometimes better. And now to the Green Day in the Middle East subject. I think it would be a very cool idea. Something really new for them. Well to be honest, they never did it before so I'm not sure if they will change that soon. But I really hope they would because I'd love to see live-material from that gig.
AwesomeAsFudge Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 reading this make me feel so desperate =( i'm GD fan from the middle east and i want to meet GD no matter where and just wanna make few things clear, yes Saudi Arabia is religious country and alcohol is illegal in there, but it still big and cool to me and btw there's concerts every where in the middle east, but bands don't come there =\ so it's just local artists mostly

Zelda Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Daaamn epic bump. I wouldn't rule out any possibilities. I'm sure that it will happen eventually. It could take a few years, but again, I'm sure it will happen. pfff page own.
