arrie44 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Okay finally my Green Day fix has been satisfied! I've been wanting a good and fun Green Day song for quite some time and this fills the bill, thanks guys!Lights Out just accentuates how much KYE sucks. Well not sucks but you know what I mean, it's not very good and will be quickly forgotten.

Welshy Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Thanx so much for uploading! I'm loving this, and I get the Warning comparisons - shades of Fashion Victim in there. It would've been a great first single, but I'm thinking that KYE is possibly the most positive-sounding thing on an otherwise extremely dark album - so maybe that's the why of it.Lyric -lights out, here comes the night,as the darkness falls over the lightlights out, there goes the dayand this fear that comes won't go awayand i'm losing track of timein the corners of my mindand i'm living out my private suicidelights out, i lost myselfin the space between heaven and helllights out, finding my waytill i waste my time losing the wayThe line "and im living out my private suicide", I'm wondering if thats a reference to the lyric in homecoming
.Brian Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I don't know..I just believe, what i see..I#m going to go to saturn and media markt tomorrow maybe i can find out more
Nele Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 How stupid can you be making a maxi single and a not maxi single... really, no offence but... it's just stupid. How many singled with KYE will there be? 100 or what?!
GreenNimrod Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 the video was removed. was it just lights out?yes, but i think that youtube remove it

That's an interesting idea about KYE, I think you're right. It really has that lead-single feel about it, it's like a rally cry that gets me excited for what's to come. I think it was the perfect choice.LOVE Lights Out. That quirky little instrumentl bit is fabulous, as is the guitar. Definitely has that dark feeling to it again though, especially looking at those lyrics.

Jaymee!! Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Ehhhhh...it was okay. It didn't grab me the way 21st CB and KYE did.Still, nice to have a wee little preview
