Starbug Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 safe to say that we all like it more than Know Your Enemy, god bless B-SidesThat does seem to be the general consensus...Hmm, even though KYE has more energy, I think I like Lights Out more, its just so old school GD!I think I do, too... I like them both, but there's something about Lights Out that has drawn me in more, even though there is a part that sounds like another part in Fashion Victim, which is one of my least favorite songs lol But Tre owns the beginning of Lights Out, and anything Tre owns is awwwwight with me
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 As I listen to Lights Out more, I get chills, it reminds me of the Dookie days when I was a kid. Its very 90s, especially around 1.33 when the single notes and delay comes in, gets me thinking about the 90s music/radio when I use to hear When I come Around. This as a Bside is a real loss for the album
Guest Billy Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 this, "Lights Out" song is the reason why you can call me a green day fan still.
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 So even you agree that it sounds like "old" Green Day?
Travis Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I got the full length track and i can't stop listening to it. It's kind of repetitive like Know Your Enemy but, it is definitely a great song. Both of them are and I love them already!!! Can't wait for May 15th or possibly even an album leek lol. I would still purchase the cd when it came out :-)

Travis Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I found the actual single version, sounds much better than a ripped youtube converted to mp3 version lol
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I think the one shared earlier back on MegaUpload is the single version. Can you upload your version please?

Travis Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Dunno, sounds crystal clear though.Yeah, it does. The best that I've heard so far.Where is the best place to find good green day avatars?
NGDP Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I just downloaded Lights Out, and I must say it's amazing! It sounds like something from the insomniac-nimrod era.
Robin105 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PLQOGYWIHopefully, that link works. Let me know!Sounds the same as the Youtube one
Travis Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Sounds the same as the Youtube oneI downloaded the youtube version and ripped it to mp3 and it sounded descent, but I though that particular version sounded much more crisp. I put it on my iPod and blasted it in the stereo and it sounded great to me lol
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Not sure, someone made a few like mine. Ask around in the Scattered Pictures forum
