Vanilla Shake Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Yeah, I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the album on iTunes, and I'm sure that 2 of the 4 bonus tracks will be "Lights Out" and "Hearts Collide". "Lights Out" sounds like it could coincide with "See the Light".

Vanilla Shake Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 then pleaaaaaaaaaaase give us a link to download it..you would be my hero..I don't have "Hearts Collide". Only "Know Your Enemy" automatically downloaded when I pre-ordered it. I have to wait until the 15th until I can download the rest of the album. I don't know if "Lights Out" or "Hearts Collide" will be bonus songs, they may just be b-sides only. On iTunes the bonus tracks listed aren't named.

Vanilla Shake Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Oh yeah, thanks for the link to "Lights Out". Brings back great memories of their older work.
Trina Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Going to look for the singles and stuff tomorrow. If for some reason they do have one with Hearts Collide, I'll upload asap...But I doubt they will...I absolutly ADORE Lights out Thank you so so much to everyone who uploaded it How stupid can you be making a maxi single and a not maxi single... really, no offence but... it's just stupid. How many singled with KYE will there be? 100 or what?! Get over it.On the single, they mention butch vig just at KYE, not at lights outso i think, lights out hasn't something to do with butch vig Cool! I'm not a Butch Vig fan.I do. I am glad you guys finally got to hear "Lights out" though. :-)Mr.peepee Please upload Hearts collide. We will love you forever. Please?????
Angela. Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Wow! I just listened to it for the first time. I can see why some people have been saying that it reminds them of Dookie. It's great.

Minority_GD Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 lights out reminds me of the of the good old times.it sounds a bit like a mix of insomniac and kerplunk. When you hear it you remember all these great things and in this moment you just know why you love green day so much.
Angela. Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 i love lights out more than know your enemy Me too. I think this should be on the actual album, not just a b-side.
valeria carci Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 i'm in love with this songcan't stop listening to it
djrossstar Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Not only should 'Lights Out' have been on 21st Century Breakdown, I think it would have been the PERFECT song to end the record with. Anyone agree? Now we have another rare song to yell at them during shows.DJ Rossstar

Eirik Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Now we have another rare song to yell at them during showsWell, we can't really know that yet, now can we.
djrossstar Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Lights Out gave me chills. It was like the first time I heard Longview when it premiered on MTV, the first time I saw Green Day play Armatage Shanks on the 1994 MTV Music Awards, the first time they debuted Hitchin' A Ride in August of 1997 on KROCK and so on.Hearing the 30 second clip of KYE was the first time I wasn't blown away. Lights Out blew me away.

British Idiot Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Hearing the 30 second clip of KYE was the first time I wasn't blown away. Lights Out blew me away.Agreed. Lights Out feels like back to normal service after KYE which confused me a little.
