The Disappearing Boy Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 does anyone can give me a link for dowload the song, please?i can't dowload from anyplace, and I can't use my credit card for iTunes...nope download links aren't allowed for copywrite reasons.why can't you use your credit card?
Chad is Rad Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I heard this song on the radio today, and I pretty much had an orgasm in my car.I've already heard it like a shit ton, but it still started my 4/20 out pretty fucking good.
KerplunkxCreak Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 nope download links aren't allowed for copywrite reasons.why can't you use your credit card?'Cuase it haven't credit anymore lolLet's say...that I had an "accident" buying in New York City some weeks ago, and my mom just considerated I couldn't have it anymore...(I spend 1300$ and 500$ more that I didin't know, so my mum had to pay it to the bakn) hehe :whistling:
Peel Slowly And See Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Am I the only one who actually preferred Know Your Enemy to Lights Out?
KerplunkxCreak Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Am I the only one who actually preferred Know Your Enemy to Lights Out?I preffer both
CaseyStead Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Am I the only one who actually preferred Know Your Enemy to Lights Out?i can't decide which i like more. KYE has been in my head for days but every time i hear LO i think, hmmm do i like this more?i think the thing about KYE is that it's too catchy for its own good. people are only going to think of the chorus when it's in their head, and overlook the amazing lyrics of the verses, which are what really makes the song so great. i dunno, it's a great song and a good first single, but i can see it coming and going with no real impact, because sure, people like it, but it's easy to overlook the true depth to it whilst nodding your head to the that amazing guitar hook.just my thoughts

Not trying to be a parent or anything, it just doesn't make sense for a 16 year old to have a credit card.
Rezurgam Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Am I the only one who actually preferred Know Your Enemy to Lights Out?I prefer Know Your Enemy to Lights Outs but I don't love Know Your Enemy though. Both songs are okay only.

RebelofSuburbia Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Meh, I haven't seen it once They probably show it around noon or something, I guess?nope. Well I always have mtv on as my breakfast and morning tv/music.. I got up at 7 today and left the house at 8:45 so in between those times I've seen it at least 3 times. Just little previews before they go into commercialbreak and stuff. They probably show it throughout the day though. But you didn't miss anything, it's the same as that German preview thingie only in dutch and they didn't mention what time the video would premiere, just that it's on friday.

That's how these things go.

farley drexel hatcher Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I can't wait, this shit is being aired on TMF on Friday at 11am And... they're only #11 in the UK iTunes chart That's pretty good going though, since the song has only been out since Thursday night! Most songs come out on a Monday and have all week. It's also at number 30 in the main chart after just two and a half days.
GreenDayaremyGods Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I take back what I said about the song being simple. After really listening to the lyrics over and ocer again it has a lot more depth than people might think, they're just so good and are pretty deep even with so much repetitiveness My favorite part in the song at the moment, it's probably will change because the whole song is fantastic! lol well it's:Silence is the enemyAgainst your urgencySo rally up the demons of your souland the So gimme gimme revolution! it made me shreak the first time i heard it, it was a good shreak.
Tiffx Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I can't wait, this shit is being aired on TMF on Friday at 11am And... they're only #11 in the UK iTunes chart Better than #45 which they are on our itune charts at the moment.
DistilledxSpirits Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Better than #45 which they are on our itune charts at the moment.Wow it's started going down already?!I swear it was like #32 or something yesterday... :/
Tiffx Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Wow it's started going down already?!I swear it was like #32 or something yesterday... :/Actually it was #45 or something, then went to #32 and now gone down to #38.Doesn't seem to be doing very well, but I don't blame people for not really embracing the song.
CaseyStead Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 this song has really grown on me the last 2 daysCheck it out, there's a pretty cool countdown to the new video at http://www.mtv.co.uk/I was quite worried I wouldn't be able to watch it straight away because of mtv.com not showing videos outside of the US, but this obviously confirms it will be on MTV's UK site too.
Guest alright123 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Am I the only one who actually preferred Know Your Enemy to Lights Out?nah, me too! tho lights out is great too... know your enemy is an anthem!
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I cant really make up my mind. KYE has so much energy, where as LO is more Old school rocker (GD old school)
