mitzymoo Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Maybe it'll come after the video.. Otherwise I don't knowi sure hope so
myprivateale Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 To be honest im kinda bored of it already, just didnt do it for me reallyI didnt like the repeated riff through the song and would be nice to hear some bass parts aswell. Where have you gone mike?? In my opinion 21st century breakdown sounds a hell of alot better so im hopin the album leans more towards that than this song
gmcloughlin Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 what is everyone's favourite part of the song? mine is definately when Billie Joe screams 'So Gimme Gimme Revolution'!Thats my fav part too
Astrid. Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Thats my fav part too I have to admit I like it too. I like it damn much
Kimpsu Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I don't like the way it sounds in radio, still it's ok single. So radio-friendly that it must be succesful.
The Grateful Green Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 hahaha my sister is watching nickelodian or the n or wahtever it is and every comercial it says watch out for the realease of the new green day video kow your enemy friday night at 8 pm. and it shows some of the video. glad there reaching out to kids.
KerplunkxCreak Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I didin't listen it yet in Spain Does anyone know about a link to download the song? I haven't credit card to pay for iTunes.
Guitar4Girl Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I think the songs ok, its radio-friendly. I still think that there's probably better songs on the album, but I don't know, its not my favourite Green Day song. I honestly think that they could have maybe released a better first single, judging from what i've heard of the songs that they've performed recently.Thankfully I finally found the premiere of KYE on my Sky listings, for some reason it was listed as 'i' so I had to click for more info and then I realised what it was
GTI Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I didin't listen it yet in Spain Does anyone know about a link to download the song? I haven't credit card to pay for iTunes. It's on GDA

Astrid. Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 omg it SLIPPED DOWN the itunes charts WTF!?@?@? F U miley cyrus and "the climb" and "HOEdown throw-down " SHITZ!how if 21CB isnt a commercially successful album?!?!?relax.. it isn't the worst thing that could happen nowadays
RebelofSuburbia Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 omg it SLIPPED DOWN the itunes charts WTF!?@?@? how if 21CB isnt a commercially successful album?!?!?trust me, there's nothing more annoying than people that usually hate 'noisy guitar hard rock music' suddenly all fall for something more similar to that as your average Britney Spears song. I wouldn't mind at all if 21CB would remain relatively small compared to, let's say Dookie or American Idiot.
Hermione Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 what is everyone's favourite part of the song? mine is definately when Billie Joe screams 'So Gimme Gimme Revolution'!I can't get enough of that scream, I'm addicted to it. Also I love the guitar solo. Love the whole thing in fact, the lyrics really speak to me and the repetition hits the message right home. It's like a chant at a protest march, an extra good chant . Especially this line,Silence is the enemyAgainst your urgencySo rally up the demons of your soulFeels so good to hear this on the radio.
The Disappearing Boy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 its not green day's best song, they have worse, but i wouldn't go so far as to call it 'utter shit' or whatever you said, that goes for rap/garage/ R n B music!!i think this will be one of those songs that sounds better live. i can see billie shouting this song out, and tre bashing those drums like he does.sure it is repetitive, but if anyone can get a stadium rocking the green day can, and they can certainly do so with this song.
Teenage Kicks! Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Did Mike forget how to play bass? The Guitar solo...the more I listen to it. It gets better and better. And I totally made a ringtone out of the GIMME GIMME REVOLUTION! part for my phone

Greenday_Aussie Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Im really not liking the high harmonies, for a song like KYE..it doesnt suit it. Green Day are getting too poppy. We need Mike's lower harmonies back..
slappyhours Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 ha i hate this song. it's so repetitive n boring. but it's okay, i'm sure the rest will be awesome, i hope so anyways
**nobodylikesyou** Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Im really not liking the high harmonies, for a song like KYE..it doesnt suit it. Green Day are getting too poppy. We need Mike's lower harmonies back..green day has always been poppy......isnt that how they started the genre pop punk?
Greenday_Aussie Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 green day has always been poppy......isnt that how they started the genre pop punk?Hmm, they are even more poppier.I hate when I hear Pop infront of Punk...but its true, most GD songs have a punk message with "poppier" music.
