Really I wouldn't be too afraid of missing it, there's GDA and everything to watch it for the first time and I think GD will get enough airplay for you to see the video on tv at some point, even if it's not friday.

So it has to be aired somewhere before I leave, otherwise I'll be so pissed (: I'm going to do an all-nighter that night anyway, have to sit in the car the whole next day x)

(and I don't think I have a chance of going to an internet cafe, I'd be suprised if my parents let me...or even if there was one nearby.)

I just found out Know Your Enemy is the Kink XL on Kink fm (dutch radio station) which means it's the highest newcomer in their charts this week It also means that it'll get extra attention and airplay this week! So that's a good excuse to tune into them in stead of another station for you dutchies! (it's also a way better station as any other dutch one )

Thats the way I interpreted it.

I think that's a good interpretation. I think some people have gotten too down on the song for it's repetitiveness and not looked beyond it at the meaning. It's a powerful meaning, and that's why a lot of the words are repeated. I love the song frankly. With Green Day especially you have to look at the lyrics first and, perhaps. the music second. Lyrically it says "Get the fuck off that couch, look at yourself, and do something for once."
