Something about it reminds me of something else, but I can't place it...

It reminds me of U2. you don't want to hear my reasoning, it would upset everyone. It irritated me when I realised it.

Yes, it does. There are a couple I've heard that sound epic. I think, so far, Murder City has to be my favorite that I've heard. I just love it. Can't wait to hear the full studio version.

Yeah it's pretty all-around epic. I've been looking forward to EJN since it was first mentioned as March of the Dogs in AP.

I... I feel so disappointed by this song. :mellow: It's so repetitive and isn't latching onto me like a baby monkey. I want to like it, but I don't. :cry: But I DO like 21st Century Breakdown. So there IS hope.

Yes, that one sounds very epic.

It really is epic. Once the album comes out, "East Jesus Nowhere" is gonna be blowing speakers. The energy of that song kind of reminds me of "Holiday", kind of a rally anthem. I'm excited. :)

It IS epic. :)

If it will be the next single, I don't even think it will ever be overplayed.. well, let's just wait and see..

He's now saying the how manieth (ehm.) caller the people are. And giving someone a bunch of free albums :/

Me wanted to win those! Dammit, I spent at least 3 euros only on calling that number :dry:

I don't get U2... but I still can't place what I do get. Maybe after I hear it a few more times, it'll place itself. The bridge's guitar reminds me something of Sweet Child o' Mine :lol:

Huh, yeah it did, now that I think about it.

Just got my Rolling Stone...there's a snippet on the single, nothing major, though.

But there was a short article about the play, giving a little more insight on the story line he's making. Topic worthy?

I'm so loving the song. It's even better than I expected. :woot: I listen to it over and over again.

Even my friend who doesn't like Green Day at all says it's awesome.

That part is pretty much the only thing I like with this song. If anyone says the word "enemy" one more time today I'll probably have to kill that poor bastard.

I've been kinda dreading that one :lol: I'm a Christian, and I feared the worst. I knew whatever they had to say wouldn't cause me to stop liking them (NOTHING will ever do that) but I was afraid I wouldn't like the song. But A-The words are nowhere near as bad as I feared, and I'm not offended at all lol and B-The music is too infectious for me to ignore. When I heard that little clip of it, I had it stuck in my head all afternoon. It reminds me of a song by Kiss called 'I'. People need to check that out, and see if I'm right. Mind you, this is just from that little clip from the video, but still...

Sarah Cox played it at 10 o'clock and Edith Bowman played it around half 1 I think.

LOL!!! I know I feel the same way....all Enemied out over here!! And I still have no idea who my enemy is, I'm told it's silence but I'm not sure.... :lol:

Somebody else said that it was available on Amazon as a cd single, but I haven't seen that.

I paid $7.34 USD for it, including shipping, for 2 songs. It's the first Green Day single I've ever bought in cd form :D I'm excited.
