Yes. Hearing Worry Rock would have made me happy. I've seen Green Day over 35 times in 16 years, so it gets old hearing Longview and Basketcase :)

Then just dont go see them so much, or quit whining about it because a lot of people here arent so privileged to live anywhere near the bay area to see these secret shows or any green day show. Just count yourself lucky?

Anja that sounds absolutely AMAZING!! I'm so happy for you and I'm so glad you ended up going! Hahaha Green Day's pizza, that's awesome. Do you remember the guy's name from Gilman you were talking to?

His name was Cole (I showed him a picture of me and he said that looks familiar haha). And I talked to Robert for like two hours. He gave me a hug before he left and said "See you on Sarurday" or something like that :happy:

I ate only one piece, I just remembered :o lol

That sucks, but I honestly don't think I could handle anymore live Green Day for another month, anyway.

And Anja, I'm so glad you went! It sounds like you had a great time even though you didn't get inside. :)

You know what really sucks????!!!!!

I met two guys from Holland after the show who were both under 21. They said they talked to a crew member and said they came all the way from Holland!!! And what the heck happened? They let them in! Backstage!!!! And they could watch the whole show!!!

Sharon that sounds awesome :happy: I refuse to think it's the last of these shows either! If it is though, I feel grateful to have experienced the Warfield show in '05 & the DNA Lounge show, they were a dream come true so any other shows would just be...amazing.

Anja, that Cole guy isn't Gilman staff but he's always hanging around there haha but you should definitely check out that house show!

I feel the same way; I don't want the shows to be over, but I feel so lucky that I was able to make it to two of them. Can't wait for the world tour. :)

AMAZING FUCKING SHOW! I was front and center, and got all 5'1" of my ass whoopped, but MAN, totally worth it. Nothing like seeing Billie Joe Armstrong rub his nipple from two feet away. :)

They sounded great, they are ready to go on tour, no doubt. They had Scattered and Hitching on the set list, but substituted GSB and The Midwestern Medley (last performed at the Warfield show.)

I CANNOT wait for this album.

Fucking amazing night. And I don´t mean the show cause I wasn´t able to get inside the venue! But I´ve got want I wanted and actually even more. I hang out with Robert Eggplant all night; the one who has the zine "Absolutely Zippo" and we´ve talked about the band for a while cause he went to school with Billie and Mike. And he invited me to a houseshow.

Did that Eggplant guy not have Green Day play in his back yard yonks ago? I'm sure I remember reading he hosted some of the extremely early gigs. Go Anja, get all the gossip! Bid he give you any juicy information?

ahhhh verbal abuse & capitalist casualties are playing! all my friends are going to be there, I can't believe I'm missing it :(

Yes, they played in his house or so years ago before they got big.

No juicy informations. We just talked about their albums for a bit and when I asked him what song he like he started singing "Dry Ice" cause he couldn´t remember the name of the song :lol:
