Fucking amazing night. And I don´t mean the show cause I wasn´t able to get inside the venue! But I´ve got what I wanted and actually even more. I hang out with Robert Eggplant all night; the one who has the zine "Absolutely Zippo" and we´ve talked about the band for a while cause he went to school with Billie and Mike. And he invited me to a houseshow.

To Zoé: I´ve met Aaron (Cometbus) but he was sooo drunk that I didn´t want to talk to him Although there´s a lot I have to tell him.

I also got shots with Jeff Matika (he said: "But I´m not that important" ), Bill Schneider (he gave me two picks) and Jason Freese.

And: I ate Green Day´s pizza Doens´t that sound weird? A roadie came out with a pizza and said that´s from the band, they didn´t want it anymore. They ate like 4 pieces and we´ve got the rest I´ve met a guy from Gilman (well, he´s just one of probably hundres of volunteers there) but he was really nice and we had a lot of fun hanging out there.

They actually had huge screens there so I was able to watch the show! Ha, I saved 20 bucks and still could see the show!!!

I finally (after seven months) made it to Rudy´s AND ate there! And I got a shirt

Oh, and Kat was very lucky. She´s probably not on the GDC but anyway. She got up on stage and got to do whatever with Billie. Both Mike and Billie stagedived.

And Mark (I´ve met him through Paulina) got Mike´s beer bottle after he drank from it.

I´m freezing and still shaking from the cold but it was all worth it - as always!

Oh, I forgot the best part: While I was standing outside, Tré came to a door somewhere inside the building, saw me standing there, smiled and waved to me. I waved back to him and just laughed That made my evening, seriously. I didn´t feel sad about not getting inside to see the show anymore. And hanging out there with such amazing people and meeting half of the bands crew instead of getting squeezed in the pit was actually (almost) better.

Thanks for another great and unforgettable evening. Hope you all who went last night and tonight got/get home safe.
