J'net Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Not really, I do it with all new music, but I find I especially like to do it with Green Day as their lyrics are some of my favorites and I like it when i'm hearing something new, that I haven't seen before. I don't want to hear the songs and think "that's cool but I already knew that". I can't really explain it, I just think the lyrics mean more to me when I am hearing them with the music instead of reading them off a computer screen.I can't really explain my feeling about this either, but I don't see why we should have to explain it. Just because we have a different preference than everyone else doesn't mean we're doing something wrong. I don't mean to sound defensive, because as I mentioned above, I've really started to find it funny - but it's amazing how many people have commented on us being weird because we want to wait. I'm not going around telling them they're weird because they don't want to wait!Different people are different, and that's one thing that keeps the world so interesting .
