Ivy Ramsbottom Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I thought Franz Ferdinand was at the Fox on Wednesday, and the Uptown is really close-Maybe GD will give them a run for their money! this really sucks, because if I knew far enough ahead of time,I could get a flight up and back-I'm a Green Day Virgin and would love to see them first in a smaller venue! Anyone, thanks for the info-it all helps.Just checked the Fox's calendar and yep, Franz F. is scheduled for Wed, April 15, @ 8-but there's nothing scheduled for the Uptown on their calendar for Wed! Could it be?

Could it be?I pointed out earlier, Green Day is The Uptown Club's number one friend on MySpace right now, so I think it's a definite possibility. I think that's their way of dropping hints, haha.

The first 2 shows had a break in between! My hubby's work is deciding whether or not to strike on tuesday-if they do, he has to be there within 4 hours-otherwise we'd be driving up to luscious Oaktown! Shit Shit Shit I hate AT&T!

They didn't send out emails this time. I happened to be on the site when it came up, but I wasn't going to go so I didn't send my email for awhile so I don't know if I'll get in or not. Interesting about the Fox show, it's showing up on their website two times, maybe they're playing more than one night there. I can't imaging they'd do 2 shows in one night.That excites me.SF local, not LA local. No one has said anything about a show here, but I think they'll do at least one.
