Even still, if you don't press it down with enough force, you're gonna get epic fret buzz. It's noticeably more difficult than playing a chord than on the 12th fret or something.

12th fret?! Now THAT'S hard! Well, my hands are very skinny so it doesn't matter. But Billie's a man. I'm sure he can take an F Chord. If yours is buzzing a lot, you have a sucky guitar. Plus, it's electric so it's easier to play and you won't even notice if there's any buzz because of all the distortion.
