2,000 Light Years Away was on the setlist too! I hope they mix it up with some of the old, old songs this tour. Last tour was too much of the same every show.

Desperate

I'm wide awake all through the riots

This demonstration of our happiness

??????????reason

Like the model of your favorite person

We are the last call and we're

so pathetic

Desperate, but not hopeless

I feel so useless here in Murder City

Desperate, but not hopless

the clock strikes midnight here in Murder City

I am not going to listen to these clips.

I dont think they would do the album justice.

what i mean is. i think the album will be more special to me when i listen to it all the way through on cd when it comes out. so its like a first listen.

as apose to listening to the cd and going yeah i heard this part on a crappy youtube video.

^ Unreleased track from AI if I'm not mistaken...

It was on HLAHG also...

Jesus Christ, I know I should be more excited about the new material, but I honestly don't think I am.

Same here. I hope they release another Bullet In A Bible, but that probably won't happen.

was disappointed they cut out brain stew.

i hope that song doesn't leave the setlist.

Yeah same here, I didn't listen to any of the recordings, but I still hope they keep playing Brain Stew also, because that's probably my all time favorite GD song.

I´m wondering if F.O.D sounds as good nowadays as they used to played it in the middle of the ninetees... and for the videos I saw... I can´t believe that GD repeat the middle parts of Minority(eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooo...), or the Shout song after KFAD like they used to do in the whole American Idiot tour.

Is pretty boring and redundant, don´t you think guys?

I love the audience, very entusiastic and loud.

But I´m really loving the new material... MAY 15th!!! YEAH! Play it really really loud!

dude i'm sorry.......¿Viva La Gloria? is a rip off of Mama by My Chemical Romance. From what I hear, everything sounds pretty good. As of now it's actually sort of meh. Charlatans and Saints is kinda cheesy. East Jesus Nowhere is awesome but after that, it's all sort of meh. I hope that Horseshoes and Handgrenades.

BTW.......that solo in the studio recording is ¿Viva La Gloria?

First of all, Gloria sounds nothing like Mama...are you stonned? There is no Charlantans and Saints song (unless your talking about the whole act) and..Wut? You hope H&H is what?

And what studio solo?

Personally, I think this album, for me, is going to bomb badly. It sounds like if Warning and Money Money 2020 had a baby album  Both are awesome, but when you mix them..something goes wrong. Its either Inferno or Lobotomy that has a similar riff to Roshambo. Already I can see there are going to be too many soft songs, and I'll bet they dont end up like AIs..start soft and kick in with heavier electric riffs.

I want another AI, told myself it might be better after all the hype, and now am stuck with this pure mainstream pop album. Come on, it sounds like all the other crap on the radio these days..soft, because soft pop songs make massive amounts of fans.

Oh shit, did I just call GD sellouts? :/ I know I am gonna be flammed for basing this on tiny clips, but they are enough to give impressions, especially since there are so many of them. I really hope I am wrong, I truely do.

You're slightly right though. I want to clear up that the guitar riff in ¿Viva La Gloria? is similar to Mama. Parts of the album sound really good. But, some areas of it are simply too Warning-ish. I hope I'm wrong because in a way, it has a lot of potential. I know I'm gonna love certain songs. But like the whole Charlatans and Saints act is just kinda cheesy. (EJN is good though). So far, I have heard every song except for Static Age and 21 Guns. Restless Heart Syndrome is kinda weird. I will most definitely love the album, but I'm just not sure how good it will end up being.

:o All of the songs are out? Did you get them from Adie? Thats what Im downloading now. Im not listening to any I havent heard yet. Is Breakdown any different?

One thing is bugging me, and I know it very early days, if this is the direction GD are heading in, since they dont repeat any concept twise, what the fuck is the next album gonna be like! Full falsetto songs, majority of songs will be acoustic? Their getting older and wiser, so the music is really going to change in the next few albums.

I think its time they went back to the nimrod. days, those sort of sad songs, but with kickin' electric guitars. Nothing wrong with that. A mix between Dookie and Nimrod would be too awesome.

I think as long as the whole album isn't like Charlatans and Saints, it will be fantastic. I really really like Heroes and Cons from what I heard from it. Charlatans and Saints sucked but H&H was actually really good from what I heard.

I didn't hear 21CB. Here, I will equate every song to a song like it.

Christian's Inferno=Any Network Song

Last Night on Earth=Black Hole Sun

East Jesus Nowhere=Minority

Peacemaker=Misery

Last of the American Girls=Like nothing you've ever heard, in a good way

¿Viva La Gloria?=Misery

Murder City=Letterbomb

Horseshoes and Handgrenades=Westbound Sign

Drama Queen=Meh

Static Age=No One Knows

21 Guns= Holiday

Waaay too many soft songs in there for me.

But my expectations have never been higher for ANYTHING I have ever waited for before, so thats fair enough. I really dont like Gloria, LOTAG..was...hmm I dont remember. I'll keep it that way.

Most of those soft songs would have worked well as distorted rock/punk songs, think of September, once the electric kicked in, it was epic.

And where could I heard the songs?

All of you are judging just because of the short videos? Or what...

Let´s wait for the album guys, maybe it blows our mind!

The videos are short and in a bad quality of sound...

And live!

And another thing... Know Your Enemy doesnt sound too great for me... kind of too Poppy and commercial.

I prefer Last Night On Earth/Peacemaker... kind of new for Green Day!

Even though I've listened to the 20 second clips, I'm not going to base any of my opinions about the album on just those. I'm going to wait to hear the actual album before I have any opinion to give at all.
