sharon mitchell Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 I seriously doubt the Basketball clips will be in the real video, it was a start of season promo by the looks of it, they do this on Sky Sports every week, putting some song to footie clips.The final video as far as i'm aware only features the band.It was specifically stated that the video uses the three band members, no-one else, so the basketball players are history, I'm afraid. What a pity - just three men to feast our eyes on, eh, Jax? :cool:

I liked the 21st CB demo a lot better. One more thing, I can't stand the eyeliner thing, I don't know what I feel right now..To me it sounds like an Insomniac song without the anger and edge. It doesn't sound like AI to me at all, AI songs were very big and complex, there is nothing complex about this song. Rob Cavallo would never have let this song get to the finish line let alone get released as a single....the first single no less.I dunno maybe I'm being to harsh, everything Billie touches turns to gold so I guess I should shut it until we hear the full song.

I was on community while I was on my computer class and I was just reading all those posts but I couldn't hear it because there's no loud speakers. I was running from school to home. It's probably not even half.You have to take into consideration what the people who designed the clip were doing. They were hyping a game, trying to give off energy to further fuel the people who are into the game. Therefore, they're going to use the most energetic bits of the song, they're going to use repitition, etc.I like what I heard though the parts of the song they chose to use were repitious. If the whole thing is like that then it probably won't be the one I keep going back to on the album, but I'm gonna wait until I actually hear all of it before I judge the song as a whole. Anyway, I really can't think of a Green Day song that ever bored me. There's a lot of room left for it to go different places
