Dude, I have a great sense of humor; there are just some things I can't laugh about and this is one of them.

Seems like we're not on the same page here. Oh well...

you're going to call me out, "nazis are evil and killed the jews rawr how can you make a joke like that???"

you're talking to the wrong person, as i'm the biggest World War II fan. my grandfather was shot thrice.

through my grandfather, i've also met one of his friends who was a Holocaust survivor and had the rest of his family killed. he has the tattoo which was his, "name."

so, if i can make a joke about a group of men who shot one of my own blood, then you can accept a joke.

I'm neutral.

It's been too long. I won't like them when I hear 21st Century Breakdown. If it's not as bad as AI, maybe I'll change my opinion.

For those of you who just said Slipknot sucks, you didn't read "(PLEASE DON'T REACT TOO ME SAYING SLIPKNOT SUCKS)". I only like a few of there songs, but i think they as musicians are very talented. The drummer is very good.

May i ask Billy, if you don't like Green Day why are you on this forum???

Yes, I do.

I used to be so obsessed with them around BIAB time, and I'd listen to nothing but them for awhile. But for the past few years I've moved on to other bands.

But now that the album is sooo close to coming out I've been listening to them more and more.

My mom likes a lot of their stuff, too. It's still hilarious to me when she starts singing along to Dominated Love Slave and Ha Ha You're Dead :lol:

Yeah, but he/she probably didn't know that. And not everyone is as open about it as you are. Just sayin' :) I have an uncle who served and was injured, too. It fucked him up.

because i used to love Green Day, and i'm hoping that 21st Century Breakdown will be musically amazing and that the message will get swallowed up in the music. i also like to talk to people here and mess with others. a majority of this place doesn't deal with Green Day, so it's not like i'm surrounded by Green Day. in addition, i like to spread a good message and properly teach people things they don't understand and misunderstand. sometimes, you can't teach people because they don't want to be taught; they'd rather live a lie.

How the heck am I to know about your grandfather and his friend?

with me, its like, if theres an article in the newspaper, im so excited for the rest of the day. there was a small point where i was getting bored of green day, but then i joined the GDC.

Yeah i still like 'em but not nearly as much as i used to, but in fairness once i hear the new album im sure my interest will be resparked, depending on how good it is.

I used to say day if anyone used green in a sentence and stuff like that. I think that was like a phase cause i did that to when i was in 4th and 5th grade when i liked Hannah Montana. Now i don't have an obsession but often talk about Green Day and still like Green Day very very very much.

Green Day gets repetitive for me when I've listened to one of their studio tracks to many times in one day. Then I'll go and listen to something like a BIAB track and we awed right back again. so it's been a cycle like that for 4 years, and now with their new album coming out I'm sure I'll be right back to how I was in 2004
