Tripe Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hmmm, perhaps a video to go with the recording? Not an official one, but maybe one of the ones they share on gd.com or something. That would be cool, getting this cast on film. Quote
Abbey. Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Those are my feelings, too, Justin. When I left the theater last night, I stopped before I walked through the door and said to Kat, "I don't want to walk out, because that means it's really over."But its never "over"... that's what draws us all to a place like this...this music resonates so loudly with all of us here whether its thru a cd, at a concert or at this beautiful AI performance you saw that it lives so loudly inside you and all of us and we can lift each other up and keep us going so its never over (especially after our post-show depressions!). Yes, I completely agree. It was more the feeling of knowing I won't be heading back to the Berkeley Rep to see that show with that cast, and I'm going to miss it. But I'll absolutely be reliving it in my wonderful memories! I could never have imagined when I wrote the OP for this thread that so many amazing experiences were going to come out of it! Quote

MassHysteria Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Darn! I could of went to this show instead of the Thursday one. Why oh why did I not think this was a possibility! To everyone that went.. and is probably still there, *shakes fist* I need details.Did Tony Vincent perform at the show you went to? Quote
CrimsonRegret Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Did Tony Vincent perform at the show you went to?Yeah he did. He was so great! He even signed my AI poster. Quote
J'net Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Yeah he did. He was so great! He even signed my AI poster. Then you can consider yourself lucky, because he was sick this weekend, and we saw the understudy (who was good - but he wasn't Tony). Quote
Princess Consuela Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 J'net is there any chance you tell us more about you meeting 3 Armstrongs, Mike and the others? Quote

'Cos it's my birthday when I'm in NYC and what a better way to celebrate than seeing the musical? Especially if its next year, is it definately worth going to see?I mean is it one of those shows you can sing along? Quote

jnine13 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 When they said they were recording 21 Guns with the AI cast, I assumed they meant video. I think they want to get the choreography in there and document that great stage before they break it down. Quote

sallysimpson Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 First -- fabulous to meet all of y'all (Morgan, Jordan, Rachel, Bryan, Rebecca, Justin, and the ever fantabulous J'net). You rock in multiple ways and on multiple levels. The whole experience exceeded my expectations -- even sans a ticket for November 15. Second -- I did see the show twice on Saturday and I have opinions (lots), but 99% are good. Of course that doesn't mean that I don't have a wish list of changes, which I will post shortly, assuming work slows down. Third -- Adrienne has the booties. No official comment at this time. But J'net seemed to like hers, so I extrapolate a similar response.Fourth -- for the AI Bway run, Mi Casa es Su Casa -- as long as you are NYC independent. 'Cause I don't run no sightseeing tours. I now plan to begin my Tre Cool inspired booties. Morgan -- first pair are yours.SS Quote
