Lmfao. It be hilarious if before you left you saw someone scribbiling the number down on a piece of paper or something, telling their friend, "I'm gonna get some tonight!" "Dude, what's the Bullwinkle?" "No clue, but it's a number and has 'for a good time,' so I'm going with it."

That would've been awesome, then I could find out whether they were an uggo or not and whether I should answer their call.

I'd also appreciate it if we didn't discuss it here. We really don't support bootleg recordings of a theatrical performance, and discussing it here will only lead to people asking for the link.

It seems that people that twitter like the show a lot, only a few mediocre statements. I wonder if this demographic is significant or not. It is interesting that there are no flat out negative tweets (from people that have seen it that is) about the show:

I was interested in the one comment from someone who "expected it to be political." I had a similar thought when I was writing my recap, but then when I thought it through, I felt like that might have dated it too much. Bush is gone now, and our political situation is quite different. I think the way it was interpreted made it pertinent in today's world by focusing on the "information age" issues more than on the political ones. And the politics were there - they weren't swept under the rug - they just weren't the main focus of the show. That's my opinion anyway.

I figured it would be political as well. I'm sort of glad politics aren't really involved because, yeah, that would've dated it. And the album is political, so making the musical political as well wouldn't have been as interesting/surprising/special as it is with everything that actually happens to the characters and such.

From the spoilers I've read and such, I love the storyline, and I think it's cool politics were mentioned, but not the core of the production.

why not? 99% of fans won't ever get the chance to see this performance and this is all they have.

The music was beautiful, I certainly don't think that would stop someone from seeing the show, and on top of that, someone on the inside leaked it here because they wanted to see our reactions, so I personally don't think its that big of a deal.

The people that went to the show that night were not just "people on the inside", it was those involved + their friends and family (each could invite about 5 people). So no, it does not necessarily mean they want bootlegs out. NO theater company wants that for a work in progress.

It's definitely happened before that an actor has asked someone to record a show for them, but discussing it on the board could get the mods in trouble. I vote that we stop talking about it so openly. Just PM about it and then feign innocence later. That's what the Broadway boards do (whether they admit it or not). :wink:
