Did they stop adding Good Riddance for download or something? Cause it's still the one with Billie singing part of Hold On at the beginning. Too much awesomeness going on that we are not allowed to hear? :sherlock:

That's weird, it does work for me.

Only nothing from the 18th, but that's their day off so obviously there won't be a recording.

I think no one has posted this:

PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: A Two-Show Day With American Idiot's Extraordinary Girl, Libby Winters

I'm especially loving the photos on the wall on the last picture

That was really nice, thanks for posting! :D

I just have to hold out hope for LA next year... :/

I'm kinda planning a gdc/ facebook meet up at AI for all the idiots in los angeles.

Maybe you can come. :)

That happens to me too. If you enter the day of the month manually and then click "load track," you should be good to go :)

You know that tugging sad feeling you get in your belly when something really REALLY sucks? Well looking at those photos made me realise how bummed I was that I never got to see this show...

The matinee one from the 16th, and the evening one from the 17th are both the Good Riddance with part of Hold On version.. Can't be right?

Oh yeah you're right, it's like that for me as well. I didn't try the 17th evening out, just 17th matinee (which is the proposal). Sorry, never mind my post then!

I could not stop laughing at the video

I'm so excited to see this for the first (and only!) time. But I have some questions:

How early before the show do they let people in? Do people line up? (even though its assigned seating)

Also, is it very chaotic when leaving the theatre, what with all the barricades and people waiting outside? (for the matinee show) Or does the audience leave from a different exit?

Yes, people line up well in advance. I've been the first person in line twice. About an hour before the show starts, they let people in to buy merch and drinks from the bar, and after a little while longer, they start seating people in the theater. It's a bit chaotic to exit, but there are several different exits, so it's not that bad. You don't have to worry about a bunch of people blocking the exit, at least.

People do line up, which always seemed weird to me since the seating is assigned. I notice they do it for many of the shows, though, not just AI. I guess once you get to the theater, there is not a lot to do other than go in, so you join the line like everybody else! You should be fine getting to the theater at 30 minutes before your show - plenty of time to get through the entry line, check out the merch, use the bathroom, etc. And, for the exit, they encourage the balcony ticketholders to exit directly to the street and the orchestra peeps to exit to the streetside doors on the left of the theater. Exit that way, rather than back through the front, and you will avoid the whole BJA barricade lineup mess for the most part. I just saw photos from the crowd after tonight's show and it looked really chaotic around the stage door.

Enjoy your show!

Only a few more! Sob!

Thank you and thank you.:)

Heh. If you're in the balcony or mezz, if you take the wrong exit & end up in the alley behind the theater instead of the street in front, make sure to go to the right to get back into the lobby to exit. If you go to your left, you'll end up backstage where a security guard will look at you sternly.:whistle:ninja:

ETA:

Some of you have probably heard of David's (New Tunny) mess-ups. This isn't my audio but it was pretty hilarious. Poor Van just lost it. Justin, too. :D

So, yesterday I got my American Idiot inspired tattoo. I had Adrienne, Christina, and Rebecca write out 'Love Happened Here' for me, and I got one word from each of them.

That looks great! I love how you used one word from each of them, and that there's a red heart in the exclamation mark. Really nice.
