lizziebix Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Did you have to hang with the other winner much beyond the back stage tour? Was she nice to you? Just curious. Quote
Annie, get your gun Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 It must be pretty amazing to see this musical Though I didn't like the idea at the beginnig... But the guys look so happy, that the outcome of their work must be wonderful! I can't explain my excitement, even though I never saw or going to see this musical... I hope they enjoy it a lot, AMERICAN IDIOT IS THE BEST THING THEY EVER MADE! THEY DESERVE ALL THE SUCCESS AND JOY!!!!!!!!! I LOVE GREEN DAY SO MUCH! Quote
Rebel07 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Did you have to hang with the other winner much beyond the back stage tour? Was she nice to you? Just curious. Nope, she never even talked to me until we were about to go to the Red Carpet. She was really friendly to me, but I still don't really care for her. She acted like this was just like an everyday thing or something.. idk. and she was making fun of all the green day fans, which was also a bunch of GDCers that were inside the barricade waiting since earlier in the day just to see the band. she was like "Those Green Day fans have been outside since like 2pm, if they want to see the band so bad why don't they just go to one of their concerts" She was pretty arrogant and she was also there more for the musical part of it, it felt like she wasn't really a big Green Day fan at all. But thats okay, thats what they have me for! and to represent GDC! Quote

Reading all the reviews and seeing the photos and videos, it must have been an awesome premiere! btw, I just found a video of the after party where we can see Billie Joe breakdancing at the beginning XD Oh my god that is so awkward Cool, though. And yay videos Katie =D can't watch them now, but yay =D Quote

plaid ducky Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 So, I went to the softball game today with my friends. Holy crap our team is good! They won 13-2 against Memphis. A lot of the cast was either there playing or cheering. Miguel is the coach/captain/player and he was great. Joshua had at least two RBIs. Christiana was the only female cast member playing; the other was Bethany who worked in the management department. Rebecca, Alysha, and Aspen were there along with Tony and Stark. Everyone has a nickname on their jerseys and most were quite funny. Rebecca's made me laugh the most as it was "Daaaaaaaaaammn." LOL! Declan's was "Is It" and Gerard's "It Is." Of course, Andrew's was "Relentless." All little inside jokes but they were cute. I don't have the exact link but if Google "Broadway Softball" to get the schedule. Our stands were filled so they had good support. Their major game is against "Rock of Ages" sso if anyone is around that, you should go. Quote

Lol of course Andrew Call would pick "Relentless"... back when he still was on FB (or before he deleted me, not sure which), every other status update was "RELENTLESS!!!", I kid you not. Even his friends told him he needed a new phrase Quote

HoneyDo666 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 her pink hair looked like a bad pageant wig gone wrong. I avoid those people like the plague. She just looked duchy...you looked really cute though, Katie! Quote

Isabel Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I love how Billie Joe uses words like "pulverising" to describe the musical and then the mic goes to Tre and he says "It was hot, it was sexy, it was invigorating...I had a boner" Quote
