Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I had an absolutely amazing time... So... my recap of opening night: I went to the GDC dinner and met up with everyone. Had a great time. Got a bit tipsy. We all headed over to the theatre, and I saw Whoopi Goldberg show up. After a bit, we went inside. When I got inside, Butch Vig was right there, and I was like "Butch Vig!" and he smiled and waved at me. Then I noticed Adrienne, and I tried to get over to her. I got over to her, and I asked her to sign my hat, but she had to go outside for the red carpet. She was like "I'll come back in, I promise! Just wait there!" So I waited, and Rosie O'Donnell walked in. I got really over-excited, and I was like "Rosie!" and she turned and was like "Hey!" I snapped a picture of her, then ran up to her and hugged her. She laughed. I was like "Sorry, I've loved you since I was a little girl, and I really respect you for having the balls to be able to say what you thought on The View." and she was like "Aww, thanks." and gave me another hug before she walked off. Then Adie came back in, but walked right past me. So I was like "Adrienne!" she turned around and was like "Hey! There you are." I was like "Yeah." at this point, I'm a giddy mess because... ADRIENNE! And Joey and Jakob were right there. She signed my hat and was like "You're back again!" I was like "You remember me?" And she was like "How could I forget? I love your hat. And your dress by the way." Which made me all giddy inside, because I chose my dress because it reminded me of something she would wear. I asked if I could get a picture with her, and then I got one. (Which I kind of regret now, because when you get a picture with Adie, she's just so gorgeous that you're all 'Wow, I look like shit.') Then she was like "These are my kids, Joey and Jakob." I shook Joey's hand, and hugged Jakob. I didn't ask for any pictures with them, or take any pictures, because I thought it would be weird. But I met them, so that's pretty damn cool to me. I also got Jason Freese and Jeff Matika to sign my hat. I hugged Jason White. Then I went to my seat. After the show was over, I waited outside. I managed to get a pretty hilarious picture of me with Freese and Jeff Matika. Green Day were being pretty rushed, but I was like "Billie!" and he leaned over and gave me a hug. Security kinda shoved him away before I could get a picture of him or ask for a picture with him, but I got a Billie hug, so I'm really not going to complain. I did manage to get a picture OF Tre, though. Overall, it was an amazing night. <3
