J'net Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 I think the dialog is a big deal - it has to come up to the standard of Billie Joe's shit-hot lyrics. One of the things I find off-putting with musicals is that the dialog is usually lame, it just links the songs but doesn't connect with them. For this to be all that it should be, that connection needs to be seamless. Taking all of that into account - just imagine Jesus of Suburbia filling up a stage with a whole chorus, wow!!Completely agree! It's all running through my head as I try to imagine what it could be like. And as you say ... wow!!
alexandrez Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 i have to watch this.i cant imagine how green day songs will be with orchestration!=D

Aurora Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 it sound like this play is going to be fruityas much as I cringe to even think about AI being turned into a play I know if it was playing near me I would still go see it. and what the hell is warner smoking that they won't let GD release HLAHG, but will approve of this play?

Morgan7 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Thumbs down. Can we please let AI sit?it came out in 04. Let's move on.Yeah... On one hand I love AI and I think this could be cool. On the other hand, it did come out in 04 and it seems like maybe they should just leave it as the awesome cd that it is. I think that making it a musical would be almost.... overdoing it? :/
