I enjoyed the accent discussion. J'net - I had forgotten how much you have that Oklahoma drawl until I watched your hilarious vid. I don't think we have actually spoken to each other (not online) since, what - last September in Berkeley?

Hahaha - I truly don't think of myself as having an Oklahoma drawl :). But I'm sure I do. It was fun to kind of play it up for the vid, though. And I think you're right, our last face-to-face must have been at the opening previews of AI (and we didn't really have much time to chat then since you were "on a date" :)).

i really hope this comes to the west end at some point. there's no way i could go to broadway at all and a cd just doesnt scratch the surface at how awesome it must be to see it for real

No word. All quiet on on the AI FB so far. Then again, their last post was Friday, so they've been quiet for a while

And its been driving me crazy all day.

Actually, it looks like they did comment on someone saying how much they loved the show about an hour ago, so they are there. I hope they're gearing up to post.

good luck to those who entered =] i didnt enter because 1. i live in ny, and 2. i bought a ticket for opening night and id rather see someone else win that isnt able to just hop on a train/bus or walk drive...etc into manhattan :)

It makes me wonder whether they will call/email people first, and then post on FB, or post on FB and then call/email people.

They would have started this on Saturday and may still be continuing today.

Then, sometime today, they show the short list to a selected list of judges, who all discuss and vote and narrow it down some more.

There may be a need for a final round of discussion/voting before the final two are chosen.

I still think this could all happen today, but a lot of these people might not be getting an early start, so it could be much later in the day before you hear.

theyll probably post the winners wherever first, but i could be wrong.

and j'net your probably right....theres probably so many people watching entries to narrow them down to a shorter list.

Well right now, I'm definitely feeling a "new kind of tension" ;)

And yes, I think you're spot on with the process, there is no way they would make the higher ups watch ALL those clips.
