sundaymorning6am Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 You got me excited! But they have tickets for over $300 for the rear balcony! Please, people, don't pay that. That only encourages scalpers. Quote
GDM Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I can officially flip my shit. I'M GOING. are you going to the the party now, too? Congrats! oh wait, that was to the wrong person, sorry! And yes, $300 for a $60 seat is a bit steep! Quote
ANJI Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Just found this article...nothing new but thought i'd post it anyway http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2010/04/05/green-days-american-idiot-the-musical-ready-for-broadway-hollywood-next/ Quote
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 As much as I want to go, I can't bring myself to pay the $276. It's fucking tempting, but dude... just- no. If anyone has an extra ticket that they legit want to sell for a fair price- I'd be more than happy to buy it from you, though. Quote

I always like to read articles about the musical, idc if it features something new or not xD Quote
Homicidal_llama Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I'm guessing a DVD will probably be released of this eventually but I really don't want to see it. I'm sorry but hearing all these people singing these songs doesn't really do it for me. I wasn't a fan of the 21 Guns, cast of American Idiot release so chances are I won't enjoy this. Quote
GDM Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Those tickets for the balcony are insanely priced. Literally $62.00 tickets are going for $300? For the BALCONY? That's highway robbery. Quote
GDM Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 MTV will give YOU the chance to see the show on April 22... http://mtvpress.com/press/release/mtv_and_green_day_pull_back_the_curtain/ Quote

XD Oh well. I may not be able to go to April 20th, but I can enter that. I'll be there on the 23rd, anyway... Though I'm considering going on the 20th just to meet up with everyone and hang out. Who knows, maybe I'll get there and someone will have an extra ticket or something. Doubtful, but I can only hope... Quote
monkeyfish Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I am really flippin excited for opening night, and I'm not even going! Since I have zero chance of seeing the show, as I live in the UK, I am praying it does well so that they could bring it to the west end. HAIR was on broadway for a year and it did really well, and the original broadway cast just recently came to london to perform it here. Fingers crossed the same thing happens to AI. I really want to see this particular cast. Quote
ParadoxAndPlaid Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 wow, $300 ? I don't understand why people do that with tickets. I understand selling tickets if you suddenly can't go, and making a small profit, but how greedy can you be? Quote
E!!i Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Does anybody know if the musical cd will be released worldwide? no one answers my question so I think nobody knows?! Quote
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 no one answers my question so I think nobody knows?! It will probably be available for download everywhere, I don't see why not. I don't know about physical CD's. (you mean the cast album, right?) Quote

Homicidal_llama Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 no one answers my question so I think nobody knows?! Nothing has been confirmed. Personally I reckon they'll release a CD and DVD similar to Bullet in a Bible. Quote
