I got my ticket in the mail yesterday. And if you still want any merchandise from the Berkeley run, they still have stuff including the program (the big red one not the black one) and the posters. You could either stop by Berkeley Rep or e-mail them. The red program is $10... I'm not sure about the posters, though.

It wasn't clear if it was a new album, but it's to do with the musical. Whether it's a new album full of songs from the AI cast with their musical backing, or just the backing tracks they're using on Broadway, it's good news!

I don't think the cast has recorded anything but their first rehearsal is tomorrow. As far as backing tracks, they have a live band on stage with them during the show so they wouldn't be using backing tracks. So, I don't know... However, there is a picture on Facebook of the show's guitarist in studio with what seems like Tre on drums, so maybe that has to do with what you're talking about.
