They should just make GDA and GDC the official pages..

It seems like some of the past contests and stuff like that is just for the US though...and some other stuff might only be for them too but you can join and do most stuff

Hmm, interesting ... you never know with them. Could just be that they're 'coming in 2009' banners and maybe they think they'll be a little stale once the new year gets here? Who knows lol

I figured it out. Go to teamgreenday.com and if it's telling you to log in but not giving you the screen to do so, there's a link to log out. Log out, then log back in. It should work and let you join. That's what happened with me.

You dont have to do anything, but if you want to you can complete missions.

The current one is "get a friend to join the street team," hence my asking people to join using my username.

The last mission was "use the new green day banner in as many places as you can ie your facebook/myspace."

They may ask you to put posters up at gigs you attend in the future? The more missions you complete, the more likely you will be invited to meet the band when they tour.

Its available in every country cos alot of the missions so far have been about promoting the band online.

I think its a great idea. I offered to do the same kind of thing for a small local band recently, but they didnt get it. :/
