Alan86 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Its also possible that if they do decide to do more side project stuff that it could be something brand new. (Not the network or FBHT)
Foxboro Hot Tubs Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Its also possible that if they do decide to do more side project stuff that it could be something brand new. (Not the network or FBHT) yeah... you never know what Green Day is going to do next =) and that's good so
Katarina. Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Its also possible that if they do decide to do more side project stuff that it could be something brand new. (Not the network or FBHT)Lol, like The Foxboro Network, or The Network Hot Tubs, jk I don't know really. Sometimes I prefer The Network, other times FBHT. I just want that Green Day record!!
Tubbie Head Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Its also possible that if they do decide to do more side project stuff that it could be something brand new. (Not the network or FBHT)That's pretty possible too and most likely... after the 21stCBD tour and all.. I really love side projects
virysya Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 All these side projects are really great.I just want to be sure that they have enough time to do GD stuff.
Alan86 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Lol, like The Foxboro Network, or The Network Hot Tubs, jk I don't know really. Sometimes I prefer The Network, other times FBHT. I just want that Green Day record!! I like the sound of The Foxboro Network.
music_that_is Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Let's hear the 21st CB first, and (if) the new Network album, then we'll think about it. Though it would be a nice treat to hear a second album.
Ila Reto Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 hell im all for another FHT album, but not just yet. i mean, let 21stCD take center stage for a year or two. then maybe in 3 years FHT can make a triumphant return and visit the east coast and UK for once!we've already got a network album comming out, i dont think releasing 3 albums in one year's time is up green day's ally by any stretch of the imagination.
greendepent Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I'd rather have some more Green Day than Foxboro's after the tourme too, the bj's voice doesn't sound good in FHB, I mean, I listened FHB performances and bj sounds horrible, but, that they play in small avenues, is a great idea too
Ila Reto Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 me too, the bj's voice doesn't sound good in FHB, I mean, I listened FHB performances and bj sounds horriblehe was also very intoxicated from what i heard people say. in my book he sounded good for someone completely drunk
Nele Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I kind off like the Foxboros but I wouldn't mind if they don't release any new stuff. I prefer The Network anyway. And first they should make the new Green Day album, before starting something new.
drumstick Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 me too, the bj's voice doesn't sound good in FHB, I mean, I listened FHB performances and bj sounds horrible, but, that they play in small avenues, is a great idea tooHorrible?? I bet you wanted to write adorable
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Horrible?? I bet you wanted to write adorable
Nele Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Horrible?? I bet you wanted to write adorable I beg to differ.
drumstick Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I told you...she probably spelled it wrong edit:ups, he
CarnageXB Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 But this time they come and tour on the east side.
Ila Reto Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 ^ i plan to beat Fink and the Reverend with a stick if they dont stop by the east coast.
Hermione Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 ^Oi get in the queue, England's next on the list! Why wouldnt AI have happened if the Network hadnt? That doesnt make sence to me.I think the Network was part of the recording process of American Idiot. To make AI they would've been constantly trying out new ideas, exploring different areas of music and just being creative. So one day they happened to feel like making some nice little 80s songs, and they turned out to be good so they released them. They also recorded all kinds of things that were never released, apparantly they even did some dirty Christmas songs . It's all part of the creative process - having fun making those Network songs probably set off all kinds of ideas that went towards AI.
Ila Reto Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 ^ i agree, and wait The Network is 80s? i always thought it was futuristic music and i MENTIONED the UK in the post before that one, just forgot to mention it again! if they do west coast, and then jump overseas, they better get their asses on a sailboat and come to the east coast after.and i dont even know what a queue is!!! (isnt it like a subway? lol i have no idea)
Princess Consuela Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I think the Rev should bless some European countries with his appearance
Naked and Famous Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I enjoyed the tubs work more than a lot of their Green Day stuff, actually. But that's just because it sychonized my favourite types of music into one.Ditto!I'm hoping that if there's a new Network album coming out, there'll be a new Tubbies album someday as well
Eirik Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 and i dont even know what a queue is!!! (isnt it like a subway? lol i have no idea)A line you wait in.
Ila Reto Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 ....oh.... i learned something new today on GDC!
Hermione Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Don't people say queue in America?! I have learned something too.The Network is total 80s, they made lots of futuristic music in the 80s . Tre even says "hungry like the wolf" in Hungry Hungry Models - a Duran Duran reference if I ever heard one
