Spark of Insanity Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I hope this Network thing is true. That coupled with a new Green Day record will make one awesome of a year.
apocalipstick Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Oh man! I really, really hope they do put out a new album. I loved Money Money 2020!
BringMoreKnives Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 a new network album would be cool.... but i like the foxboro hottubs better
Clockwise Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I like The Network better than FBHT but I still like em'. Would be super duper crazy awesome to hear some new Network songs. I'm syked about the boxset too!
Kisa Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I'd love to see The Network release another album. I still listen to Money Money 2020 on a regular basis.
Ila Reto Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 "do you feel the hammer of the Gods"*breaks out in air-synthesizer* YAY! i cant wait to get this confirmed! <3 im totally head-over-heels for this band...it's why im Ila Reto! also, you can pick out some pretty chrome-and-neon-induced clothing if you're shopping while listening to them.buttttt...i'd be hella pissed if they dont tour on the east coast.
Nobody_Likes_You Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I found it cool, that they played Teenagers from Mars at both of the "secret shows" in Germany before they actually hit the stage. And it was kinda disappointing, that it seemed like as if I was the only one to know this song and could sing along.
SlappyDJ1 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I dont think so. green day never claimed to be the network.
forget_me_nots Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Well......not that I wouldn't love to hear more Network...but it just seems to me that the project was something special, something they did to have some fun or do something new. I think I'd be disappointed somehow if/when they came out with a new CD. I don't know. And sure, I'd listen to it, but I'd be sad about it for some reason. xD Just the thought of a new CD by them of FBHT makes me sad.
Nimrod99 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I just hope that if/when the new album comes out, if there is a tour, they show some love to the Pacific NW. I'd totally be there.
Nobody_Likes_You Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 ^^^ah well that makes sense, wouldn't be good for them to put Network stuff in a Green Day box set.
Supermodel*Robot Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I wish the network would open for the Green Day tour this time around. That would be amazing!
DeJennsitized Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I dont think so. green day never claimed to be the network.Did they not confirm it in that email to MTV? When they admitted to being the Foxboro Hot Tubs?Yes, they did;"All things considered, either the Network or Green Day would make excellent openers for a FBHT tour"
kman102 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Ok, had to go back and listen to the CD again (haven't been able to since I had a stupid night terror). Can't believe a stupid dream had such an effect on me. Can't wait for the new album to come out (both GD and the Network). Hope there's a tour to go with the Network album. If you are talking about the Network's CD, I won't listen to it when i'm by myself or at night.
Anja Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I just watched the dvd recently and felt in love with them again. "Spike" is such an awesome song, I love it I hope they are gonna release another record.
Ila Reto Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 ^ "hey this is brandon but my friends call me Spike now....dont make me get all Blackhawk on yer ass."i love Money Money 2020, and Disease is Punishment (the DVD). and yes, somewhere deep inside me there's still a 13 year old who wants to join the network lol. so they BETTER come out with Omega 3000, and they B-E-T-T-E-R tour the east coast and/or the UK.
Hermione Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Did they not confirm it in that email to MTV? When they admitted to being the Foxboro Hot Tubs?Yes, they did;"All things considered, either the Network or Green Day would make excellent openers for a FBHT tour"Hey that's not confirming it, they're describing them as two seperate bands there! The Network aren't Green Day
alexandrez Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Hey that's not confirming it, they're describing them as two seperate bands there! The Network aren't Green Day well, FBHT isnt green day either.OMEGA 3000 FTW.really, i guess the more albums and songs and "bands" we can't get out of billie's head, the better for us.
Nimrod99 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 If you are talking about the Network's CD, I won't listen to it when i'm by myself or at night.Yeah, that's what I was talking about.
Supermodel*Robot Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 ^ "hey this is brandon but my friends call me Spike now....dont make me get all Blackhawk on yer ass."I totally started calling my friend Brandon "Spike" after that CD came out. He didn't get it, but it was fun.
Miqui_Dee Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new Network album. I love the Network. Much better than Foxboro Craptubs.
PleasedToMeetMe Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Whats with all the hate on the Tubbies??I think they rock, good old fashioned drunken rock n roll. It just proves that Green Day are the same band they were 15 years ago, not just rich rock stars out to do whatever their fans want them to.
