J'net Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Hmmm. I can't believe it's this woman...: http://www.bigspeak.com/susan-butler.html Pretty sure that's NOT her .
Nele Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Pretty sure that's NOT her .yeah i know. I just wanted to get a few laughs...
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I'm a bit 'meh' towards the whole Network thing. If I want heavily accented synth, I can just listen to Human League. It's like it's not funny enough to be a comedy record, but not polished enough to be a proper one. It just seems a bit half finished.
Ila Reto Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 ^ Just boring ordinary hamburgers? Only x-ray hamburgers will do.i always wonder what the story was behind that song. like, were they just sitting there eating hamburgers and tre went "this would be cool if it was an x-ray hamburger" randomly? and those lyrics (paired with the music) seem pretty heavy, meaning it doesnt sound like they were fooling around like they were in right hand a-ramma.i love this whole thread- finally a place to talk about the network!

I actually think that every song on that album has probably something to do with their lives. Like, they saw this tiny models on TV and then said let's wrote a song about it and that's Hungry Hungry Models. Or maybe I just interpret too much in the album...

Haha who knows WHAT they were thinking. I reckon the idea is that singing about something as silly as an 'x-ray hamburger' in that heavy, serious sounding way makes the song extra amusing. Like it's meant to sound like some clever metaphor, but it's really just nonsense This Network talk has made me addicted to the album today, I has to start dancing when Reto came on.

I've been hooked on the album since yesterday. lol.

Katarina. Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I'm listening to money money 2020 right now :]I'm more excited for a new network album than I thought xD
permanent_insanity Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It came out during the John Roecker interview.oh ok.............
Doug Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 truthfully i never got that "in" to the network. i am interested to hear some new songs though because i did like a couple of network songs
The Punk Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Hey people. I came from some weird absense (Yeah really) and i wanted (PLEASE) updates on these 2 projects... FBHT and Network new albums. Anyboy?
Fuzz Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I don't think we should expect anything now while we're just around the corner from a new Green Day album. But i'm sure these projects are not done with. John Roecker said The Network will put out another album.
The Punk Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 And i read somwhere in this forum that Foxboro are going to do another tour and album... that's why i asked
Fuzz Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 it has been suggested, but nothing has been confirmed. I doubt they've made any concrete plans about it yet since the band will be ridiculously busy for the rest of the year.
finksgirl Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I...really really really love the Network. >.>And I got my family into them. XDEvery time we're in the car pretty much we play the Network. Which is kinda why I've had to buy 3 copies of the album since I've burnt out the cds with so much listening. lmfao. If there was a new Network album me, my 9 year old sister and my mom would all die. XD
Ila Reto Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 ^ wow lucky! my mom hates the network lol. oh, and if anyone remembers the "phone songs", i think that one that sounds like it should be the network (i think it's What About Today) should be at least included in a box set, if not on the new network album. cuz that's a load of fun to jump around to (i love the song) and it would be interesting to see the real lyrics!
goldwing7500 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Hey Just A Little Scoop Of Info. If You Go On The Wikipedia Page, You Will See That A New Song Is Called Omega 3000.Yay!!
