20 years of Green Day and they are releasing them on a device that was popular like 30 years ago....naw, but I will probably attempt to purchase Dookie, Insomniac, and American Idiot. I don't know if I'll be able to though. I am trying to buy a new iPod cuz mine broke, plus I'm saving up for Green Day tickets this Summer. I've got a lot of shit I want more than the vinyls.

It sounds like these releases will be better quality then the old ones. Between 140-180 gram vinyl, that sound impressive, if it's not let me know, i don't want to continue sounding like an idiot, if its not.

My only concern is the artwork, if there going to have the inserts.

EDIT: I looked it up and 140 is normal. But Dookie is going to be 180g, has it been released on 180g before?

However, I do not approve of The Network being in there. Saying The Network is Green Day is like saying Santa Claus doesn't exist

Nah, those versions will probably go up in value, if anything. People will still want the originals.

And there some people out there who want the vinyls but can't afford to spent hundreds on them, myself included

No pre-order yet. Haven't heard anything about them being online yet. Since they're doing Dookie on the Record Store Day, it seems kinda pointless to make it available online.

rare stuff is old cassette tapes of like kerplunk and stuff. though im not sure when they stopped releasing stuff on cassette. i assume it was round nimrod era.

but i never realised they released stuff on vinyl before.

i would imagine that value would decrease a bit with use, but im no expert.

Are singles gonna be released too? In a way I'd like that, but in a way that totally kills rarities.

Another question: approximately how much are record players? (USD is fine) And where could I buy one? I've always wanted one but never found a good reason to buy one.
