farley drexel hatcher Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I have to admit i'm a total vinyl junkie, when I can afford to be. I have Insomniac, Warning and AI already but I haven't found the others yet, not affordable anyway. The only one I really want so far is Kerplunk
Welshy Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 A bunch of other articles have picked up on it now: http://news.google.com/news?ned=us&ncl=1314892868I think I'll be buying one or two of these vinyls. but someones gotta give me a job or send me a lot of money?
Ila Reto Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 now how can i tell which are the old vinyls and which are the new? without getting jipped on ebay? but i guess thats cool.
farley drexel hatcher Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/go...amp;newsLang=enThis has a bit more info, and this bit was interesting:In addition, Reprise will also release a boxed set of Green Day singles culled from the band's entire career, including those from their alter egos Foxboro Hot Tubs and The Network, as well as B-sides, international tracks, and live tracks, on July 21st.I guess they really are playing up to the 20 years of Green Day thing
**nobodylikesyou** Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 ^I was just going to post this. AWESOME! They are gonna be massive again!! YAY.

Eirik Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I've changed my mind, I won't be buying them, if I plan on buying one I won't be able to decide and I really can't afford all of them. :/

But I thought that Green Day hate The Network
Jynx it up Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 That's really cool, I may get Kerplunk. I'm hoping to get all of Green Day's stuff on vinyl, considering I have this awesome new record player. So far, I already have the 1000 Hours 45. =)
amy_runs Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Does all this stuff mean the end is near? Why not just do this when they retire? I bet it's just for money. Huh.
Dylan. Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Do you guys think that Green Day gets pissed that by the time they go to release something to the press, everyone already knows about it?
Juan Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 ^I was just going to post this. AWESOME! They are gonna be massive again!! YAY.again? They've always have

What I'm interested in seeing is whether this box set will include any previously unreleased material (ie- B-sides that didn't find their way onto Shenanigans or any of the AI singles).

Hellcat Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Great for the average fan, but yet another pressing I have to hunt down haha
M1KEY Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Great idea. Release all the albums on something i cant FUCKING PLAY. genius.Considering you were the only person they were aiming to please here, I'd call this an epic fail.
