Solitary One Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I hope they play it all and then all the rest of my 135 favorites. WOAH, ME TOO, WE'VE LIKE GOT SOOOOOOO MUCH IN COMMON!!!! Jk, although that would be awesome!
Guest Shangri-La Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 then why?Where would Paper Lanterns fit into all of this?
jose armstrong Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 yo, in other topic, I stop coming for like less than a week and I find lots of n00bs, good to see new people
Guest Shangri-La Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I hope they play it all and then all the rest of my 135 favorites. we should petition them to start playing 4 hour sets from now on
Greenday_Aussie Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Thats fucked up. I wanna see Billie play the MAJORITY like on AI. Hes a great performer with his guitar antics.
Guest Shangri-La Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 yo, in other topic, I stop coming for like less than a week and I find lots of n00bs, good to see new people it's just going to get worse. Billy may never return!
jose armstrong Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 it's just going to get worse. Billy may never return!lolI might even take a break too.I talked to Billy, he's just in hiatus, and, in fact, this may be my last post,,, in a long, long time.kep it cool
Juan Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Where would Paper Lanterns fit into all of this?As much as I'd love to see that one live, I think they stopped doing it since 98
M1KEY Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I feel a little sadness that Billie will be playing less guitar on this tour. I've always loved his stage presence with a guitar. But, I know they've done a very physical album and they want the shows to be hugely impressive, so if this is what they feel they need to do, then who am I to judge? Billie has certainly proven himself to be an incredible frontman sans guitar over the years, since the Warning tour, so I'm sure he will only be better this time around. I'm excited about the news of these TV appearances so we get to see some live footage right away. And bands on SNL get two songs during the show, so that's extra exciting.
Greenday_Aussie Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 SNL....Sat Night Live? I hope someone records it for the rest of the world.
Dylan. Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I have been going on an Insomniac binge lately so I'm really hoping for Stuart and the Ave. I know they won't play it but a guy can dream.....In all seriousness though, he truly is the most underestimated guitarist out there. He takes punk rock soloing to a new level. I think that after he got to a point of lyrical and singing talent, he had to choose between being known as a good singer or as a guitarist, and as a guitarist, I am well aware that if you're good enough, you don't need to prove it to anybody.
amy_runs Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 They should play every song off of every album. And then play all the cover songs they have ever played live. And then play some more songs just because
mandypants19 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I don't really know if this will change things a whole lot. Billie played lots of guitar on the AI tour, even with two additional guitarists.
FilmAdaptation Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 They should play every song off of every album. And then play all the cover songs they have ever played live. And then play some more songs just becauseCoheed and Cambria played every album of theirs in their entirety, why can't Green Day?
Dylan. Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Coheed and Cambria played every album of theirs in their entirety, why can't Green Day?Ugh...I'm so sick of hearing about Coheed and Cambria....I'm not a fan.
M1KEY Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Coheed and Cambria played every album of theirs in their entirety, why can't Green Day?LOL @ an 8 hour show
mandypants19 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 LOL @ an 8 hour showooh, that would be lovely. I vote yes.
Dylan. Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I'm cool with 8 hours at a Green Day concert but not if Coheed and Cambria have anything to do with it.
mandypants19 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I'm cool with 8 hours at a Green Day concert but not if Coheed and Cambria have anything to do with it.haha, I'd suffer through coheed and cambria if i got to see an 8 hour green day show.
Dylan. Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 haha, I'd suffer through coheed and cambria if i got to see an 8 hour green day show.I would too. I would draw the line at Miley Cyrus though. I swear if Montana gets anywhere near my band I'm going on a fucking hunger strike...

I think i would start to question the sanity of green day if they picked miley cyrus to tour with them.
