Lil Wayne is an amazing rapper. People who hate on him have probably never listened to his music and/or think its punk to hate on rappers. For those folk, did you know that Combat Rock was inspired by underground rappers The Clash heard while recording in NYC?

I don't think that was a very good line to quote him on does he have anything better? No probably not. sometimes I do go like "nice" when I hear some clever lyrics from Lil Wayne (or any rapper for that matter),,, but the ratio of cleverness to meaningless shit is sometimes unbearable to me.

I have have heard his music, it was painful. Do you know how long it took him to get to where he is? Nobody seemed to like him when he first came out. I think he's just a fad and hopefully time will runs it's course and he'll be gone before he can bother me with another horrible single such as 'L-l-l-l-l-l-like a lollipop' or whatever!

Um, I'm pretty sure Lil Wayne is better than Lady Gaga, she is good looking though. At least he has clever enough rhymes, which are better than, "bluffin' with my muffin." Is it off limits to rap about certain songs? If so, you best not check out my lyrics thread when I decide to rap.

I agree with Hermione. Lil' Wayne is a terrible rapper. He may write a few good lines and has such an understanding that he is able to make up puns in his rhymes but other than that, I would be pushing it if I said he was mediocre. His rhymes have no substance to them much at all. All he does is say how great he is at rapping and how he's G. Insert some bitches, hos and money in there, and you've got Lil Wayne's music. Good shit totally. Moreover, he has been accused of swagger jacking some big names in rap, basically meaning he stole their lyrics. Very overrated.

Quick edit: I am a firm supporter of the Death of Autotune movement. Another reason why I don't like Lil' Wayne. Get that shit outta here.
