It all depends on tomorrow, when I'm going to ask if I can A skip school and(/or) B skip stupid training and team BBQ.

But it will definitely include running to the CD shop, buying it, running back, stealing my parents' CD player and locking myself up in my room. (If only I had a lock on it, that'd be nice)

It does come out the 15th. I think he messed up. It will be on vh1.com and rhapsody tommorow though.

Yeah, it will...why did you think it wasn't?

Im at college on the 15t.

1. Go to college

2. During hours break at midday, go and buy the CD

3. Anxiously wait till 2pm for college to end

4. Get home as quickly as possible

5. Put the CD in my CD player and play as loud as I can because im gonna be home alone that day

I'm going to the school library, with my ipod in hand and my special headphones. I'm gonna sit down in one of the comfy leather chairs at the library, turn off my phone, make sure to take a piss before hand. Then I'm going to sit there and listen to the album in its entirety, in one sitting.

Well, honestly, this is what I do when I get a new CD:

1. come home

2. grab CD

3. download it to ipod

4. listen to it a few months later

But that's terrible, so what I'll most likely do is:

1. get home

2. get CD

3. download it

4. read lyrics while it's downloading

5. put my ipod away

6. listen to it the next day

xD

You do know that the album is like 74 minutes long ? :P

I'll probably come home from school tomorrow and just sit down here in the den with my head phones on like the hermit I am, listening to the album until I go out with my friends. Then I'll come home at whatever time and come back down to the den and sit with my headphones on like a hermit again. (:

I'm probably going to have a life and just listen to it.

I've just found out that the album probably won't get here on the 15th, so that ruins all the plans I had :/

I still have to find a way to kick my mom and my brother out of the house so I can hear it for the first time with no disturbances from them.

... burst into tears when it takes 20 minutes to get the friggin wrapper off ...

But don't forget to say thanks to your dad :).

I had previous plans, but because things changed (in my favor), here's my new plan:

Wake up, eat a bowl of Lucky Charms (because they have horseshoes in them, and that fits with the theme of 21stCB), then wait by my front door and hope that the CD will arive that very day. I'm lucky because I have May 15th off, due to a school prom for juniors and seniors. It works out perfectly. But if the CD doesn't arrive May 15th... I think it'll be ME who has a breakdown.

I have a quick question for you guys. I preordered 21stCB from Amazon, and I was wondering... for those of you that have preordered CD's from Amazon before, does the CD typically arive on the day that it is officialy released? (For example, since 21stCB is officialy released on May 15th, should I be expecting it at my front door from Amazon that day?) Because I won't listen to any material from 21stCB (songs, live preformances, etc.) until I have the actual CD in my hands... and if I have to wait much longer after May 15th, it'll be sheer hell.

I'll have the digital download from the vinyl purchase... but I might still get a copy of the CD during break at work....

Sadly no. Amazon usually ships the day BEFORE release. So if you didn't pay for fast shipping, you prob won't get it till next week (since it comes out on a Friday). Your prob looking at receiving it on a Monday.

Fuck it, just go to the store and buy it that day.

Some of my friends and I are planning a 'Green' Day, as we are referring to it as. No, not a day spent sitting around smoking weed. But a day celebrating the new Green Day album. The plan is;

1. Our group all dresses up in Green Day tees. I will take some spares for people who don't have them. I am debating whether to wear my American Idiot tee or dress up as Billie, complete w/ black top and red tie.

2. At 9:00am (first break at college) we all walk over to Sanity (the closest music store) to get 21CBD, singing a medley of Green Day songs. We will hopefully find as many people as possible beforehand, the bigger the GD mob the better!

3. I have psychology. One of my GD friends do it too so we will talk about the album the whole time and read the booklet, eagerly anticipating a first listen.

4. At lunch break (12 midday) we find a quiet area, set up a portable CD player that somebody will bring, and listen to the album, start to finish.

Does anybody have any ideas on what other GD related stuff we could do to make it more fun?

I just changed my whooole plan. xD

1. I'll start today with listening to Green Day records, so only the studio albums with new songs. Today, 1039SOSH, tomorrow Kerplunk, and so on, so that I'll listen to American Idiot on thursday.

2. Then on May 15, I have school from around 9am till half past 1. But, I've got a free period around 10:30am, and that's the time I'll go as fast as possible to my local record store, buy the album, and go back to school. I'll wear my GD tee this day.

3. Then I only have one class left, and I'll be at home around 1 pm. First I'll eat lunch, and after that I'll go to my room.

Before I'll listen to the record, I first want to look at the record itself, read the booklet and stuff.

And then, I'll listen to the album the rest of the day and enjoy it

I'll probably be dead from exhaustion and sleep all of Friday; I have anatomy test on Thursday .

If I can read an entire book in one sitting, I can surely listen to this album. This is IMPORTANT!

just like i celebrate any new green day happening....

im gonna listen while i smoke a joint.

i just got the record (thank you RS)

im putting it in itunes and thus on disc and ipod respectively...

and im gonna go rock the fuck out with headphones on...

Here we go, American Idiot up first (Jesus of Suburbia right now) the download is nearly done, and Ive still got the rest of AI to go.

Soon after, Breakdown fucking loud!

I drive 50 minutes to work and I've had it blasting in the car the past couple days both there and back.

I am really loving Peacemaker (especially love Billie's rolling 'r' on the last serenade lyric) and Last of the American Girls. Favourite tracks so far for sure although the whole album is fantastic.

I think it's a much stronger album beginning to end than Idiot.

buy it get home from work.

listen to it while smoking and drinking.

generally just being punx.

then once im familar with the songs.

i will air guitar and pretend to be billie in my room.

haha

i will jam playing the whole album on guitar start to finish haha.

fuck im so stoked for friday.

Yeah, my plan for the first listen to the album was to listen to it and enjoy it. I don't really see why there needs to be anything other than that goin' on.
