This was the only thread that had anything connected to John Roecker...So has anyone seen Live Freaky Die Freaky? I've had the DVD for about 3 years now, and I just got around to watching the special features. There was a part that showed some footage of Billie Joe recording his lines, and a lot of it was really funny. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Yeah, I just watched the movie and special features this last weekend. I love that part where he says "...and if there's time ... make some sandwiches." And then he starts laughing and says, "It's just SO wrong!" I love the way he reads the line leading into it, too, "...you do the girly stuff like ... decorate the walls with blood ..." The way he says decorate the walls with blood is such a hoot!Actually there is a thread about John Roecker appearing on DJ Rossstar's show tomorrow night, and we can ask John any questions we like. Maybe having watched the movie will spark something for you .Do you think cameras are allowed there? I actually doubt it cause it´s a filmpremiere but if the boys are there and my camera isn´t... No one would ever believe me.I just had a great idea about cameras! We can bring any cameras we want. If they're not allowing cameras at the door, I can run across the street and put them in a drawer in my office. Then we can retrieve them after the show.

He should definitely do more of that kind of stuff. The first time I watched it, I had a REALLY hard time believing that was Billie doing that voice (until he started to sing, of course). I am amazed that he can do a voice so completely different from his own. I kept listening for hints of his voice in it, and couldn't find any.He's a talented guy (that's new information, for anyone who's interested ).

It was groundbreaking.
