Robin105 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I'm a 21 year old who acts like a 12 year old whenever I see Billie. I guess you can call me a teenie. But I like there music too but Billie's the hottest guy alive. i REALLY hope they come to NY.
Hermione Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I don't understand how anyone can really be so annoyed by so-called "teenies". Young girls being silly about bands dates way back to Beatlemania, it's harmless fun. Who cares?

marie1986 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 some teenies could be die-hard fans. i was a 7th grader who could be considered a teenie, but i was also more into the music than their looks.....today, i look at billie, mike, and tre and think...yeah they are very hot or whatever....but i'm way more into the music. screaming fans...who cares? let us have fun. its a concert, have the time of your life....definition of a teenie for me would be people that don't know the music of green day nor the history of the band and just listen to them because they are obsessed with the looks of the band
belinda jane Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 the last time i saw green day i cried so much.i miss that night.
MusicalDeviant Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I'm studying abroad in August for the whole month. I hope to God that the LA green day shows aren't in august. I'll fucking shoot myself if they are.
tuwlol Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 It just makes sense. Most places that are 18+ due to liquer licences are small clubs, if they can do that with FHT (I think they did) they can do it this time around. I hate all those really socially and mentally retarded fans that don't even like anything before AI or just like the 'classic' songs... or Billy Jo....What.I don't know what you're talking about.Billy Jo is sooo hawt.Basket Case is the best song ever! Except for maybe Boulevard of Broken Dreams.. Okay, done. I totally agree with you there. I was waiting in line to get into a show, and this idiotic teenie went off saying all of the dirty things she wanted to do to one of the band members. I wanted to vomit.I wish they'd show a little more respect for the band members. Honestly.
Zalex Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 oh gosh, with my luck I'll be in France when they come to Philadelphia.I know what you're sayin. With MY luck they will be in New York when I'm in ITALY this july.
spark in the night Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 oh gosh, with my luck I'll be in France when they come to Philadelphia.oh wah
Zalex Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 the last time i saw green day i cried so much.i miss that night.I started crying when I saw the VIDEO of 21st Century Breakdown on youtube.I'm worried I'm gonna cry too much when I actually see them in person and look like a total fool.
spark in the night Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 weirdos. I didn't cry when I saw Green Daybut I had the best concert high everman I love those
Nobody_Likes_You Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I also hope that they do some smaller club shows, but they shouldn't be 21+.HA, when the dates get announced, this thread and the on the road forum go like BOOOOM
mitzymoo Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 the last time i saw green day i cried so much.i miss that night.that will prob be me when the dates are announced and i have my ticket im just so looking forward to this its gonna be my first green day concert and it will mean a lot to me
gdpunk2 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I wonder where they will play in England, in fall. Thats if they do come to England. I assume so because they did Bullet In a Bible here. It would be great to see them there. But i dont care, so long as I can see them for the first time Im worried though because I know its hard to get tickets, especially for big bands, im worried the shows ill sellout quick and i wont get my ticket =(
Nimrod99 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Ugh, that's the worst.I hate it when little fangirls (or sometimes fanboys) start talking about how they want to "do" a member, or members of the band. It's all fine and dandy to find the guys in the band hot, but seriously, no one wants to hear the details of what some of these kids want to do with the band.Yeah, and this idiot was screaming it at the top of her lungs. The teenies that just say (not scream) stuff don't bother me that much, I've learned to block that out. lol. I'm hoping that there won't be so much of the fangirl/fanboy thing this time around, but sadly I'm not betting on that.I don't understand how anyone can really be so annoyed by so-called "teenies". Young girls being silly about bands dates way back to Beatlemania, it's harmless fun. Who cares?I don't like it when it destroyes my ears or there's so many of them at the show that go off at the same time that you can't hear the band. Being silly is good, but sometimes it get's a little too excessive and obnoxious imo. -----------------I'm all for fun at shows. Just because I'm an old fart doesn't mean I don't sing, dance, and get involved in all the GD festivities.

_all_is_well_ Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 im worried to anyone seen this yet?Whatttt???? Since when does FB have music?
Billie's Long Lost Son.. Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 i would trade my mum just to watch a green day concert D; i jut hope they do come england, london
pnkrckprincess Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I would die, if they made the shows 18+ or 21+ this time around.Seriously, I am 15 years old, and I have been waiting for their come-back just as long as you all have. And I am NOT one of those effing "teenies" who talk about "doing things" to them. :/ (poor Billie.. x]) They were the first band I liked. And yeah, I just started liking them when AI came out, because before then, I was too young to know that they even existed(sad but true). I love ALL their songs, not just the "hits".They are my favorite effing band, and I would do just about anything to see them in concert. (considering I know my parents are going to make me earn my money so I can see them)Their music, changed the way I see things, and I will love them, even when they aren't "cool" anymore.Once you go Green Day, you never go back. ^-^
Hermione Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 ^Nah the only reason for a Green Day show to be 21+ is if they play in a tiny club that has a 21+ policy so they have no choice. Which is not very often. All their concerts will be open to you. I've never seen them before either and I can't wait i would trade my mum just to watch a green day concert D; i jut hope they do come england, london Don't worry about that they'll definitely come to London, probably several shows. They have to, because I'm going to them. Now if only they'd play Cambridge Junction...
Guest cjmancol Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I wanted to make a separate thread for this now that we know the tour will officially kick off in July in North America, then the band will start playing Europe in Fall 09 (I had this confirmed with the band). 2010 the band will move to Japan, Southeast Asia and South America before returning for more North American shows. It's only February and we already have a pretty good idea that we have the next 1.5 to 2 years to get some new live music where EXACTLY in south east asia? i live in the Philippines and it's in south east asia.ohw my fucking jesus!hopefully they'll come! i'm on my knees GD,please come. :/
Billie's Long Lost Son.. Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Awesome  , do you know if they will come england around july or later on? o.o? i'm kinda confused about that
Hermione Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Awesome  , do you know if they will come england around july or later on? o.o? i'm kinda confused about that No one knows the exact dates/venues yet, but they should release them soon. Rest assured you'll hear about it when they release them, it'll be reported here (and many other places) straightaway. Wish they'd hurry up!
