Ingrid Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Oh, so it doesn't say anything about the three new song titles? Hmm. Maybe they're all bullshit then.
Ally Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Oh, so it doesn't say anything about the three new song titles? Hmm. Maybe they're all bullshit then.no nothing at all about new trackshttp://www2.kerrang.com/2009/02/green_day_..._new_album.htmlit doesnt even say anything about new title on the kerrang website...thats the same a printed in kerrang mag but with a different pic.
peepee Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 My guess then is that the title "Death of a Nation" is total bullshit. Either Daniel is trying to pull another Green Day Hoax or someone is trying to make a fool out of him. That is my 2 cents.
Ally Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 i just searched google and Death of a nation is an anti-flag song too so maybe its a cover? I dunno just a theory.
Marie_GD Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 I'm getting in contact with the people who posted this and I'll let you all know as soon as I get e reply.
peepee Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Hardly likely that they will cover Anti-Flags "Death of a Nation". I'll bet you anything that is not the case. I believe someone was gonna pull a prank and maybe use Daniel Soxic's track "Death of a Nation" to try and fool everyone into another Green Day Hoax. I honestly believe that. Especially since it was only day's ago I made you people here aware of his music and many has been saying he sounds like Billie and all. If it hasn't been confirmed then I am very sure there isn't a Green Day track called "Death of a Nation" at all.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I'm not going to read through the whole thread, so is it already confirmed?Reading the last page replies, it isn't?Cool btw The Living Dead sounds very familiar to me...Prolly it's something known I can't think of right now, but still....

peepee Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 There is plenty information on the net about the famous Green Day Hoax. Basically this guy sent in 2 tracks to greenday.net in 1997 and claimed it was rare Green Day demo tracks. They were posted on the site and word spread all across the green day community. The tracks were played on radio and mentioned in news articles. Then Adrienne listened to the tracks and confirmed it was a hoax. The bubble burst so to speak. Owner of the site felt like an ass (his own words) and the hoax was interviewed saying that he was sorry and that he never would have thought that he could actually fool anyone.
Mauri Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I still don't know what a "Green Day Hoax" is :/Some Green Day wannabe recorded a song (VERY similar to Worry Rock) and it was posted on some sites as a Green Day unreleased track or something like that...
Kaddi. Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Here's the way I look at it. Act 1 is called Heroes and Cons. From the song titles in that act, 21st Century Breakdown, Before the Lobotomy, etc...It sounds like that Heroes and Cons will talk about social issues including politics and the general problems with society. Then in the Act 2, Charlatons and Saints (Charlatons btw for those who dont know were magicians a long time ago who were considered witches and minions of the devil by the Roman Catholic Church at the time of Jesus' death) it seems to deal with religious problems and the whole nihilism issue. Perhaps, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, it will give solutions to these problems. If you have bad luck...you need a horseshoe. If you're at war...you need a handgrenade. I don't know just an idea.Sounds plausible.

I would have never known.

farley drexel hatcher Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Yeah i've just looked in Kerrang and it's nothing new, no new song titles or anything. So we can safely assume the song titles mentioned are just more rumours.
