permanent_insanity Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Maybe this will help - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qi...04175638AAz56c9My dad always adds 'pregnancies' to that list. Dunno, don't ask...now it makes some more sensethanks
Teenage Kicks! Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Good for you! It will serve you well. Like, if you're in a GD forum in ten years and someone wants to know who said something. Well, then you'll know cuz you paid attention!Ha ha! YEAH! It's weird how I connected it with all this Green Dayness.
Doug Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I hope this album is fun and not all serious... I mean, it'll be good either way, but I want some fun stuff. The world is sad and serious enough as it is.yeah i miss the fun immature songs like dominated love slave and king for a day. I'm sure there won't be anything close on here.
Haydée Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 so many news I totally missed this thread..thanks!
Dylan. Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Here's the way I look at it. Act 1 is called Heroes and Cons. From the song titles in that act, 21st Century Breakdown, Before the Lobotomy, etc...It sounds like that Heroes and Cons will talk about social issues including politics and the general problems with society. Then in the Act 2, Charlatons and Saints (Charlatons btw for those who dont know were magicians a long time ago who were considered witches and minions of the devil by the Roman Catholic Church at the time of Jesus' death) it seems to deal with religious problems and the whole nihilism issue. Perhaps, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, it will give solutions to these problems. If you have bad luck...you need a horseshoe. If you're at war...you need a handgrenade. I don't know just an idea.
Starbug Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 yeah i miss the fun immature songs like dominated love slave and king for a day. I'm sure there won't be anything close on here.Nope. Those days are probably over. Not that that's entirely a bad thing, it's not. There's a time to grow up. But that doesn't mean everything has to be super serious all the time.

Starbug Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I think FHT was a good example of that.I agree, that was nothing but good old fashioned debauchery I think this new album is going in a different direction. but again, I have yet to come across a GD album I disliked. I have liked them all. Some to lesser degrees than others, but I love all of them for different reasons.
Sanah Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 HOLY FUCKING HELL.This is just so much...My God. I am too fucking joyous at the moment.

My head is going to explode THIS VERY MINUTENo more new green day news today. please. I can't take it.I know the same with me.And bad thing, I won't be online much anymore. So I hope that the only information that gets released is on days that I will be in a computer class at school.I don't want to miss anything when it happens!
Tiffx Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Seems like it's going to be very religious based on the song titles, but can't judge until I've heard all the songs I suppose.
