minus52 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 my thoughts exactly. i think/hope that they edited that clip for us. i'll be happy if thats the case.yeah, because then we would have like a short version of the song that only we have!
The Disappearing Boy Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 It truly is amazing how a small sample, without vocals, is still better than every Blink-182 song.thats no truefixed. And thanks i haven't actually played it, so i assume i am right.
minus52 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 It truly is amazing how a small sample, without vocals, is still better than every Blink-182 song.hahahaha, so true
Dimitra A. Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 thats no truei haven;t actually played it, so i assume i am right.well i dont have a 12-string guitar so "it's moo".
Justin1 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I fail to see how listening to that repeatedly won't annoy the shit out of anybody.I hope it's just looped.Acutally, i sorta think it is looped, sounds like it could be..but then again the second background guitar builds up a little throughout it.Not to mention, Billie did say that they were wanting to mess around with predicatable arrangements. And he most certainly did here. I kept thinking that the drums and stuff were gonna kick in eventually, and they didn't. So i dunno..I'm pretty stoked to see what it's gonna turn out like.Does sound a little AVA/U2ish...but if green day needed to add anything else to their sound, i think that would be perfect for them. Cause Billie has mastered melodies sooo much, i think taking a BIT of that spacey sound could make for one of the best records of all time.My prediction is that the song is gonna break into something similar to the first part of homecoming. Obviously not the same melody, but the same tempo with the drums and guitars and whatnot.
chickin'pickin' Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 It truly is amazing how a small sample, without vocals, is still better than every Blink-182 song.Aahahahahahahahahahaa I guess that's true.
tattyjane Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 its surprisingly soothing when played over and over agian
GreenNimrod Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 It truly is amazing how a small sample, without vocals, is still better than every Blink-182 song.Blink 182 is GOOD, i like their music i don know why do you put this message......
chickin'pickin' Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 its surprisingly soothing when played over and over agianWhen you've listened to +44 for so many years, a parrot being raped by Long John Silver would sound soothing.*Just adding to the blink hatred*
mrs. billie joe Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 it may sound weird lol but i miss hearing their new songs so muchand im waiting for the cd to come out
djrossstar Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I wonder if we will hear a full song this week Remember before Warning came out when they put up the short samples of BSB and Hold On!?
Dimitra A. Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 it may sound weird lol but i miss hearing their new songs so muchand im waiting for the cd to come out That's what we all do here.
watsername24 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I'd like to think that this song snippet is without vocals but I do think it sounds like its leading into something, it almost starts to pick up at the end before it cuts off. I'd perfer it ot be the song without vocals, it's waaay to long as an intro. However I dont think they would give us a snippet of the finished song as long as this so far away from the release date. could be different on the album
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I can't wait for the first single ^^
Eirik Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 but i hope the guitar doesn't go on for that long on the final album. i mean ive heard of a build up, but this is a tad boring.I sorta agree with you, I hope it's shorter on the album. But for a live performance, that sounds pretty decent.
Dimitra A. Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I sorta agree with you, I hope it's shorter on the album. But for a live performance, that sounds pretty decent. OH MY GOODNESS. With the words "live performance" i went from to to to and got the shivers!btw i love your ava<33
nimrod-41 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 This is exciting!I can picture them coming on stage playing this. then at that end bit, they can break into an amazing song!
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I don't hate Blink. In fact, I've seen them many times and I own every record, include the two 7 inch'' records they put out in the 90's. I've just started to dislike them this week because of the hundreds of music fans who have been posting about how they are 'better,' more talented, more creative and more innovative than Green Day. Even Blink know that's not true!I'll give you that...But still, what fans do and the way they act isn't really a reason to start to dislike a band.I'm excited they're back together.Anyway... I think the looping comment could hold true. I hope so anyway. I'm too stoked for this new album to be let down by a minute of the same damn chords.

spark in the night Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I liked the clip in the beginningguitar sounds pretty...but repetitive ohmygod. It reminded me of the Who's 'Baba O' Riley', I was waiting for like some Keith Moon drums to bounce in
